How do I get web traffic?
I am new to this internet-advertising deal. I have tried stickers and magnets on my car to little avail. I have made one sale directly from an advertisement in a shopping guide. Two people even tried to convert me to their businesses from seeing the ad.
My main question is: How do I get traffic on the web? I am sure there is a plethora to read on this topic, but at this point I need easy steps spoonfed to me! I have websites, and there are regulations about what I can say, or if I can make a non-company-sponsored website at all, so I am being overly careful right now.

You've got to get quality leads first.
I understand your caution Jennifer. Getting started on the web can be daunting because there is so much you CAN do, but what SHOULD you do? My two cents on the matter is to keep in mind that you need a steady flow of leads to be successful on a consistent basis. If you're developing your own site I recommend a simple form on the site where a visitor can leave their name, email, and/or phone number requesting contact from your personally. This allows your site to be working for you 24/7 and you still can contact each lead personally.
Hey Jennifer, it is very overwhelming at first. I have found that the more I want to do something, then the more I need to learn about it. When someone decides they want to be a surgeon, they usually have to go to school and learn the skills they need to perform their duties. It's the same way for network marketing. If we are to be successful in this game it is imperative to equip ourselves with the right tools and skills. In the meantime just pick one thing that might interest you, something you want to learn more about - then learn all you can about it. When you've got that down, move on to the next point of interest. Set goals and time frames as to how fast you want to learn about these things, Then do it! In this game you can never stop learning. In the meantime, keep it simple, and do the best you can - as you learn more, you make the necessary changes. Hope that was of some help.
Keep your chin up -there are free forms of promoting on line
Jennifer...I hope this helps, if you Google Article Submission Sites -you can write and submit articles on line for free! you can write about any subject that you are skilled or knowledgeable in -or even passions or hobbies for that matter...you have an Author's Bio in the body of the article -there is where you get to tell folk about who you are, what you are doing and the company you are promoting. If you also set up a Blog (again Google Blogs -and my adive is say "top 3 bogging sites" ) every time you write a new article , just copy and paste it to each Article Submission sites (store the Articles in your Word Perfect -or other such program) and post those same article in your blog...this feeds the spiders and your name gets out there. My girlfriend does this and we get leads every single day! The best thing of all is that other Article Submissions Sites will pick up your Articles...other persons with their own Blog sites will do the same and voila- you have free traffic!! ;)
Hope this helps!
Warm Regards,
