How Do I Know if My Company Has Integrity?
Whether you are looking for a company or already in a company, it is critically important that you pick the RIGHT company. When you are looking at a particular network marketing business, it has been demonstrated that in order for YOU the DISTRIBUTOR, to be successful, you need 5 pillars for long lasting success.
In "Mentoring for Free," we do complete training on the 5 Pillars you need for success in your network marketing business. But, you can save yourself some time and money, simply by checking to see if the company has Pillar #1. If the company does not have Pillar #1, you can stop the process of examination right here!
There is no sense wondering if they have Pillars 2-5, Because Pillar #1 is "company management experience with integrity."
So, how do I determine whether or not a company has integrity? Read your contract! Read the "Policies & Procedures" not to be confused with "terms and conditions."
Folks, this is YOUR contract with YOUR company! You will find that some P & P's range anywhere from 13 to 68 pages. I've even heard of some being over 100 pages! Remember, all this legal mumbo jumbo is written by the company lawyers. Just a side note, one particular company has only 3 pages, large print. When examining you P & P, it might be a good idea to start from the back and work forward. Usually, if you start from the front, your brain is about to explode by the time you get to clause #3 or #4. Most of the ugly stuff such as "Agreement Terminable at Will," does not show up until #58 or #37 in the contract. It is designed that way for a reason.
So, once again, I can not stress enough how important P & P's are to your ultimate success. Get to know them intimately! There can be some nasty GOTCHAS hidden in all the small print. Best to know sooner than later, that all your hard work and bonus check could be in jeopardy.

IT amazes me how folks can join a profession and not understand how you can be fired and understand how they are paid. I guess they are used car salesmen dream.
Thank you Kevin

How do you know?
A friend of mine saw an ad in the newspaper where a company was advertising for several positions. He was interested in one of the positions but red flags went up about the number of positions open and he was genuinely interested in finding out more about the company.
The first step was to research online and all looked good. He went for an interview, all appeared to be well, in fact exciting. The next step was to track down some former employees and find out why they left, what was the culture of the company and how were they treated. That's when the truth started coming out.
Network marketing and choosing which company to be affiliated with is no different. Research is the key. And deeper research than what the company publishes, the training they offer or the image they project when you walk in the door.
Advising others is a responsibility and must be used wisely.
To your success,

Like you say Kevin, you don't have to look far...
Truth comes to the surface with just alittle digging. I'm still amazed people sign up for things with hardly a glance at the P&P's. They are not coached to do it, so why bother?
Kevin Could not agree More
It is so True they are not coached to do it so why Bother. Look for ONGOING. Find out what you can be Terminated for. Then you will at least know that they may not keep you around after you make 30,000 a month

You Could Not Have Said it any Better!
It is nice to have the experience of ones who research and advise others about the pitfalls to watch out for. Whether in conventional business, or MLM it is an absolute must to do your research, and to know where to go to find potential landmines waiting to go off so I don't have to step on it. Thank you for your comment.
