How Does Your Effort Compare To Cash-Flow When You Start Your Business?

Understanding that your business is a business (not a job) takes some adjusting. Getting out of the Job mindset and into the Business mindset can be a bit challenging especially when someone doesn't know what to expect.

As business owners we should expect that a business requires some start-up energy to get the wheels rolling... I think of it like push starting a car, at some point the engine turns over and all your pushing pays off.

Anyone who is new must learn to "discipline their disappointment", especially durring their first 45 to 60 days. This is the time you are setting up your pipeline or getting your funded proposal in place.

To help manage this disappointment factor. I would like to offer an overview of building your business that is a good target to shoot for.

Phases of Network Marketing Business Building

As you can see"Break Even" takes time. (Though if you do it on a budget, it can be a lot less painful when you use the right tools to build on a budget.)

Building takes time, and cruising takes time.

The key is getting into an operational mode...

So you build your pipe line, operate and tweak, then operate at a lower level of involvement. This doesn't mean you just drop out of the scene after two years... but if you have done it correctly you should be able to slow down and just keep your "foot on the petal" without working as hard.

Your pipeline is your life line.

Great Visual Jason

I really like this graph... it really illustrates the point about the time/effort/value of creating an automated system. Thank you for sharing this!

And Great Analogy Too

The vehicle and the destination. You've got a car and a place you want to get to. Some people seem to think that getting into the driver seat is effort enough. Of course they don't realize that they've got to get that heavy machine moving. Then they start that strong push and that engine kicks over and the downhill momentum of all their efforts begins to accelerate and before you know it youre cruising at 100 mph. Wow! I like to go fast! =)

And I agree with Malika. The time/effort/value illustration is the model to follow. Nicely done.
