How I Generate Endless Leads For My YTB Business

When I first started working in the Network Marketing industry I was told by my sponsor that I needed to be in someone elses face or someone elses ear everyday.

I only had one problem with this. I knew only a few people and I was afraid to prospect strangers.

However, guess what I did. I made myself do it. It was hard at first but then it got a little easier. For over a year I prospected people in my community, I made cold calls, I set appointments, I knocked on doors, met small business owners, you name it, I've probably done it.

After a year of doing this here was my dilemma. I was able to recruit some prospects in my network marketing company but I couldn't motivate them to do what I was doing. I mean, who wants to make cold calls and face massive rejection. Who wants to knock on doors, prospect at malls and small businesses. I was definately in someone's face or ear everyday but I wasn't getting the duplication to happen in my downline.

Instead of giving up on my business I began to do research. I began to educate myself on a more passive way to generate leads that was highly duplicatable. I knew that I had to learn how to be a better marketer and still keep the relationship factor that is so important in network marketing. I turned my attention to technology and how I could use it to generate an endless stream of prospects that I could introduce YTB to.

It was during this time of research that I learned the concept of a funded proposal system. I learned that I could use a funded proposal system to not only generate highly targeted prospects but also generate income on the front end by selling informational products. This income paid for my marketing costs, this meant free leads. My leads were in essence paying for themselves.

I would then call these leads and use attraction marketing techniques that would sell myself to the prospect. People were beginning to want to be in business with me. No longer was I just pushing YTB. I was generating so many leads on a daily basis that I was finally in a position to choose who I wanted to personally work with.

This is how I used technology to keep the relationship factor in my business and how I was able to have duplication in my downline.

1. Attraction Marketing - I created personal videos, training videos, blogs, myspace profiles, squidoo profiles, magnetic sponsoring profiles, and I used article marketing/forum marketing to attract people to me.

2. Duplication - I would create generic easy to follow training videos that I would post on my team blog and other websites. Every new recruit personally got trained by me through my videos. The use of my videos leveraged my time. This allowed me to focus on my marketing and not spend all my time training people. I would personally work with 2 to 3 of my top producers every month. It was great knowing that as I was generating leads everyday, my team was also getting trained.
