How Many Marketing/Traffic Courses Do You Own?
I was talking to a friend in a group I’m involved with the other day and we were discussing marketing online. He was stating how hard it was to get traffic to his website. After a little bit of discussion I told my friend to sign up for MS boot camp and gave him some additional free resources.
Then it happened…
My friend informed me that he had been through the boot camp and told me of several paid courses that he has and that I know are very good, but he complained that they didn’t work… Why?
I told my friend that more courses are not what he needs. All the information he needs to be successful he already has. The first thing he was missing was a decision. He had not made the decision that he was going to be successful on line, sure he wanted to, but the decision to be, had not been made.
I asked his to write down three things that he knows he can do, and if he would they would improve the results he was getting…
Then I asked ...”do you believe that these things would improve your results” and he said “yea” … the next question I asked was “then why aren’t you doing them”… and he sat there for a bit and then said … “I don’t know”
So I explained to him that there are two parts to the mind… one that gathers information and the other that controls our behavior and they are not the same part. The beautiful thing is that they can be developed independently from one another.
That’s why we all know some people who are no where near as bright as us but they seem to be doing so much better than us, and we also know some people who are absolutely brilliant, but somehow they don’t seem to get very good results at all.
See, knowing what to do is intellectual. We can gather huge amounts of information intellectually, but acting on that information is a different matter. We need to integrate the information at an emotional level to actually do something with it, and on the other side of the coin, we don’t need to know something intellectually. It doesn’t need to make logical sense to us, in order for us to be able to integrate it emotionally.
Just think of some of your bad habits. They don’t necessarily make sense do they, but they seem to have a mind of their own. And once they’re integrated, they control our behavior, often without us even realizing they’re controlling us.
Now, to really to grasp the way these different parts of the mind work, we really need an image to work with and unfortunately I don’t have the time at my command to go into this with sufficient detail. So, I invite you to join me on one of my webinars where I’ll show you how your mind operates and how you can start unlocking all the programs and knowledge you already have to start creating the results you always wanted. If ready to start taking your business to the next level and start getting your downline to produce what you know they can produce, then send me a message and I’ll be happy to assist you.
To your success,
Ed Reiner
