How Network Marketers Are Destroying Their Own Industry...

There are a lot of reps online that are DESTROYING the entire mlm industry. Network marketing in general is already mocked by critics, and is almost considered taboo by the general public. There are so many stereotypes and vulnerabilities you subject yourself to when you’re just starting out. You might even be a little anxious about showing your business to your friends and family, for fear of embarrassing yourself later.

Because of this, many independent distributors have taken their business online in hopes of attracting prospects there. And this is where so many reps are poking holes in the tires of the entire industry.

The most volatile and harmful occurrence that is taking place is how reps are using negative advertising against other companies to promote their own company. Do people have the right to put up a website and whine about their failure with a company? Absolutely. Should they be allowed to voice their opinion why one opportunity is better than another? Sure! Should people be allowed to criticize a company or their sponsor? Yep.

But what’s happening more and more online is the CONSTANT spamming, negative Google adwords campaigns, slandering, and downright unethical marketing techniques. As the Presidential elections get closer and closer, you’ll see more and more of this kind of advertising between the candidates.

The Democrats will bash the Republicans, and the other way around. There will be ENDLESS commercials on TV about how you shouldn’t vote for the other guy. The only problem with this is when people vote they don’t know why they’re voting for candidate #1. They just know they’re not supposed to vote for candidate #2.

In the network marketing world we see the same thing. Reps bash their competitors to try and make themselves look good for their prospect. In the end the prospect is left wondering, “Is this even a good industry? Why should I get involved with company #1 if they need to bash company #2 to make them look good?”

Now, with dozens of great opportunities in this industry, the prospects will never be able to tell the difference between “the good, the bad, and the ugly” because of the independent reps shooting themselves in the foot.
