How New Reps Can Have Guaranteed Success! The Blueprint!
If you are successful in your business the one thing you want more than anything else is for your new reps to have success too. This means that you would have a duplicating business with more new reps joining your group. That is the whole point of a network marketing company right?
I'm giving you the blueprint when starting your reps off on the path to success. All to often we focus on the goal of making enough money to retire instead of on all the steps and training that will be required in order to get there.
Your initial conversation in signing up a new rep should address the desires of the ultimate goal but that portion of your conversation needs to be short. The meat of your conversation should be on what the rep needs to do now. This is what I say to my new reps. "The first thing before you will ever make a dime in this business is to go through steps 1-7 of the training program" "If you don't go through this intial training then be prepared to fail." "When will you get this training out of the way so that we can go to work to get you to reach your goal of ____, _____ and _____."
Because they know that I would not tell them to do something that doesn't work, they will stop focusing on the long term goal and focus on the one step at a time approach. Everytime they complete a step along the journey they are instructed to call me. When they call, we celebrate with enthusiasm and praise for achievement. No matter how small. We let them know that because they followed directions that they eventually will have the financial success they want. Then it is on to the next step.
Most people need to be given directions, the ones that follow directions will then end up reaching goal after goal after goal. While they are following directions they are being trained as a leader through the training system. This is how your new reps will be guaranteed success. It takes the immediate pressure off of them to sign up new reps and just focus on learning. The signing of reps will come when the skills are learned. The praises that you give them for the work they do will compel them to keep working (learning). Hello DUPLICATION!
