How Tasks Vs. Goals Can Boost Your Business

Knowing and being able to understand the difference between tasks and goals can effect how much your business increases and goes to the next level.
 
As you know, goals and targets are required to take a business to a
higher level.  They're a must.  BUT with that said, there's
something far more relevant and SPECIFIC that you should be doing
right now that will pave the road for how well (or not so well)
your business performs over the next several months...and years to
come.
 
A list of tasks should be completed DAILY.  I'm talking about
specific items that need to be done on that given day.  Here's what
I'm not talking about.
 
Don't tell yourself:
 
1.  Today I'm going to add 4 reps into my business.
 
2.  Today, I'm going to change my response time to emails or voice
mails.
 
DO tell yourself.
 
1.  Today, I'm going to speak with 10 prospects (or any specific
number).
 
2.  Today, I'm going to create a system to streamline my customer
service and response times.
 
3.  Today, I'm going to put up a data capture website to begin
generating positioned leads from prospects who are reaching out for
more information about my products.
 
4.  Today, I'm going to write a free report that positions me as an
expert and the 'go to' person for the benefits that my products
provide.
 
See the difference?
 
Every day, you should be making a list of SPECIFIC tasks that
you're going to complete.  The word 'specific' and the word 'tasks'
are  repeated for a reason.  They are tasks and they are specific
in nature.
 
Something else too while we're on this topic...
 
Do Tasks That DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTE To Your Bottom Line.
 
Here are some examples that can substantially make a difference in
your business today:
 
1.  Creating free reports for you products and services.
 
2.  Create specific, benefit driven, data capture pages - Example:

If one of your products has to do with health and wellness, narrow
it down so it's much more specific than that.  Let's say it helps
people  that are suffering from resporatory issues.  Create a data
capture page that shares a free report that shows others how to
breathe easier. Then you'll collect their information on the
website - now you can  communicate with your audience using 2
different mediums.  1.  You can email them and 2. you can call
them.   

Notice with the above example, I used a product and I didn't
mention the opportunity - and I wouldn't - NOT in that application
anyway.
 
Once the prospect goes to your presentation call (or however you're
presenting the offer), then you can discuss getting the product
without charge or even getting paid to share it with others.
 
Make sense?
 
3.  Create a presentation call and get it uploaded to a conference
line. We like using Eagle Conferencing at

SPECIFIC DAILY TASKS.
 
And do items that can put dollars into your pocket as quickly as
possible.  As you build your skillset, there's always things that
can be done to enhance and improve upon systems, but to get thing
moving in the right direction, you now have some great starting
points to work with.
