How to be Miserable: lesson 1 -Think About Your Problems
"Everyone can be discontented if he ignores his blessings and looks at his burdens" -Thomas S Monson
Think about your problems
In order to be miserable, you're going to have to spend a lot of time thinking abot your problems. Sure there are lots of much more interesting things to think about, like your plans, your goals, your dreams... and when upon lifes pillows you might even count lifes blessings one by one.
But that will only lead to excitement, anticipation, and gratitude. The happiest people think their thoughts according to a plan, and in order to be miserable, you've got to have a plan too...plan to ignore all your wonderful possibilities and ponder only your problems.
People eventualy become what they think about... so to be miserable, think about your problems until you become one. (Rest assured, however, that domeone is going to come along and try to solve you.)
Hope you understand what I'm trying to say in these next series of articles.
Just trying to be helpful!
