How to be Miserable lesson 3: Don’t Do Anything
“Arise; for this matter belonged unto thee:…be of good courage and do it.” - Ezra 10:4
Miserable people like to wallow. They just sit there. They don’t have a “Things To Do” list, they have a “Things To Don” t’ list. They don “go and do” they merely sit and stew.
Happy people know that activity and depression are the opposites. They’re making people laugh, and smile, and say “I love that guy.” They can’t wait to get up in the morning because they have places to go and people to see before they go down at night.
In order to be miserable, it’s important that you don’t have any accomplishments to think about when your head hit’s the pillow. The motto of the miserable is “Just Don’t Do It.”
Lesson 1: Think About Your Problems
Lesson 2: Think About Yourself
