To help maximize the amount of money that you can make with your business you'll want to choose a company that has internet-friendly policies. So what exactly should you look for in a company? Here's what to look for and how to choose an internet-friendly MLM, network marketing or direct sales business.

Once you have decided on the type of products you are interested in selling or promoting, you will need to research which of those companies allow you to sell online. Some things you will want to ask are:

Do they offer a company website that representatives can utilize in order to make sales online?

Is the company sponsored website easy to navigate? You’ll want to make sure it will be easy for your customers to place an order or sign up as a dealer.

If they do not offer company-made dealer websites will they allow you to make your own website to sell their products?

Do they allow you to do online advertising? Most mlm companies have their own unique set of rules when it comes to online advertising. Some do not allow any online advertising.

Do they allow you to use the company's Brand name in your advertising? You'll want to find out what types of online advertising are acceptable.

By choosing a company that fits with your needs in advance you'll reduce your frustration and increase your chances of success. I don’t suggest you try to tweak one to work for you, if the company agreement states that it is against the rules, do not believe anyone if they say you can “get away with it”. Some companies do police the internet, and you don’t want get reprimanded, hindered or shut down after you’ve invested so much time and energy into your business.

Last but not least, find a quality up line who will be able to assist you in learning ways to promote and network your business both offline and online while staying within your company rules.
