How To Deal With REDs
Read More: I want to apologize to anyone who reads this article. I'm fairly angered at the moment.
Danny Chiquito turned me onto an MLM forum where he had posted a thread that dealt with finding a legitimate MLM company.
And in came the REDs.
For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about when I say "reds", I'm talking about people with a certain personality type. I've written a fairly extensive article a while back on the four personality types, or "colors", but to give you a quick overview, reds are the pig-headed, engaging fighters that live to argue. It doesn't even matter what the subject is. They love to hear themselves talk, and love to "win" arguements and bask in the recognition of trampling all over the little guys. They're impossible to mentor because they have all the answers.
Phew.
Alright, anyway, in came the REDs. They argued and argued. Juanita and I jumped into it, and it honestly became this really... ugly argument, really.
I'm not going to say we won, because we simply left the fight, and that's how you've got to deal with reds. They will fight with you until the end of the world, so it's best to just let them argue amongst themselves. Don't be disheartened. Don't let their negativity get you down, folks. That's just how they are.
Whenever you come across a red, I think Michael Dlouhy said it best. "You should never wrestle a pig; you'll both get dirty and the pig likes it."

Thanks, I really got a kick out of the pigs comment. I’ve listened to Michael also and know the colors well. I know how you feel and I used to get frustrated myself with people. Michael Dlouhy was a key point in my life. Because of Michael, I started to pay much more attention to my personal growth. One comment that I heard from another successful leader was that “Your Income follows your Personal Growth”. So, keeping that in mind I spent the past 6 months working on ME. I’ve gone from “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill to “ The Master Key System” by Charles Haanel, I watched the movie “The Secret” and many more audios and videos. I don’t have to worry about dealing with those kinds of people ever again. I leave the pigs where they are happy and go play with the Eagles. What I have learned is the world around you becomes a reflection of what is within you. You begin to attract the type of people you want in your world because your focus is on eagles, not pigs. No offence to anyone, we’ve all met our share of undesirable people and certainly have had far worse names for them. The point is I will never give anyone the opportunity or he power to influence how I think or feel. I have dreams and goals to accomplish and no time for anyone that is not supportive in my quest.
You did the right thing, congratulations. Welcome to the Eagles Club.
By the way, You DID win, the pigs will never be able to dirty you up ever again. ;)
