Here's a way to pre-fill the subject line for your prospects or customer inquiries.

First of all, this only works for people with their own web pages that have access and control of the html code.

If you have web pages that have your email address linked to it, are you leaving the subject line up to your customer or prospect?

The problem is, we get so many emails in our inbox that it's easy to miss an email that may be of importance.

Plus, your email program or provider may even place the email in your spam folder or you might not recieve it at all.

So here is a solution.  It is a little html code that will automatically fill in the subject line for your prospect or customer.

You may have several web pages that all have the same email address attatched to to them.  Each web page may refer to a different product or service.  You can specify a subject line for each email link on each of your web pages with this code:

mailto:email@whatever.com?subject=HtmlSample enter your own email and subject line.  Keep everything else the same.

The subject line needs to be all together as in no spaces so make sure it's easy to read.

Once you do this, you can go to your email program and set up your inbox so that your inbox folders recieve the subject lines you created for your different email links.  Create sub folders for your inbox so that each email subject line goes to the correct inbox.

Progam your inbox filters to accept these certain subject lines you made for your various email links.  Then all your emails will go to their own inbox and you won't have to sift through a pile of junk email to see if anyone is inquiring about your products or services.

This is called white listing.  Now your email program won't mark your incoming messages from customers or prospects as spam.  You are basically telling your email program to place your incoming mail into certain inboxes according to subject line.

The emails you receive from your prospects will be sorted into their own inboxes and you won't miss anything important and it will save you time in the long run.

Have a great day!
