How To Get Free Leads From MySpace
MySpace is a great place to generate free leads. You can easily generate 15 new leads to your website every day. The great news is that these are highly targeted prospects! Here's exactly what you need to do:
First..., here is a HOT TIP: Use your myspace page as an easy launching pad to start building your database of friends. You'll find some great marketers and influential people on my friend's list and you want to continue to drill down into their lists and request friends from them because that is where you find other serious internet marketing people and you just never know... that is THE target market to begin with...
The information below teaches you why and how and what to do to turn MySpace into a great marketing place for you.
1. Go to myspace.com and create a free profile. You'll need to check your email to confirm your membership.
2. Pick a name that's relevant to what kind of value that you're going to bring to people. Once you login, you're going to create a domain name which will be www.myspace.com/yourcustomname.Choose anything you want, it could be an extension that relates to you, or the business you are promoting. It's up to you.
3. Pick a headline that's unique - perhaps a quote that has something to do with abundance, wealth, freedom, etc.
4. The next thing that you want to do while you're logged in to your myspace member area is upload a picture of yourself. Put a picture on your profile that's not ordinary. That way when people are browsing, your picture will stand out and they'll be curious enough to click on your link. Also be sure to fill out the area related to your hobbies and interests, etc. to share with people. You can create photo slideshows as well.
5. Now it's time to go to the 'edit your profile' and include your bio. In the 'about me' section, tell people why you're putting this profile together and why you can bring value to their lives. This is where you'll want to use some html code if you want to spice things up. You can get basic html code info from w3schools.com.
Make sure to write first about yourself and then about your training information, or your team training or your system and why you got involved, etc. Just remember to mainly focus on YOU and just touch a little on using the internet to make money from home instead of the other way around.
Here's are some example's of some ideas to help get the jucies flowing:
Create you OWN story, (targeting other's who may have the same expierience)
Write about things you enjoy doing (focusing on a main hobby)
Take the time to view other members pages(one of the best ways to get great ideas)
Talk about things that have happened to you in your life, make sure to mention any hardships you may have had as well as any strengths and successes, because others will be able to relate to them. A lot of times, these are areas we're going to be able to connect with people. (Think about the exact things that attract you to a wesite)
In the movies, books, tv, general sections - put things that you're interested in - inspiring types of things - keep it professional, but about you. Put information in the ' like to meet' section about who you'd like to meet.
List as many things in your profile to really express yourself.. this should include your passions and what you love to do, your pros and cons, likes and dislikes. Also be sure to include a link to your main lead capture page or your program's capture page or your phone number so people can contact you.
Put as many details as you can (with taste) so you can really open up and share with people who you are so they have a chance to really connect with you. That's what attraction marketing is really all about. Make sure to SAVE all your changes and additions when you're finished.
There are a couple POWERFUL ways to use MySpace as a marketing tool. Essentially by first working hard and consistently on building your friend's database, you are building a highly valuable "ezine list" that you will be using to distribute value based training content... people LOVE this stuff... and while you're sending valuable information, people will, out of curiousity, start clicking around your sites to find out who you are and what you're promoting...
Groups- MySpace has a powerful section where you can seek out groups in all kinds of niches and you can then start inviting them to be your friends. You have literally MILLIONS of people at your fingertips just there alone...
Forums - MySpace also has forums where you can communicate, network and establish contacts in different topics as well...
Using Other Marketer's Profile Pages - My first suggestion... how do find like minded people who are already involved in our internet marketing industry? Simply start out on a marketer's myspace page and start looking at who their friends are... invite them... that is an EASY way to find your target market...
How to communicate with your powerful friends database?
Comments - Post cool valuable, helpful, inspiring comments on other target people's myspace pages. People are always curious about who just gave them some valuable tips or compliments and they'll click on your profile to see who your are and return the favor...
Messages - You can send personal messages to friends...
BULLETINS - This one of the most powerful ways to turn your myspace page database into your own HIGH VALUE Ezine list. When you post one bulletin, it goes out to EVERYONE on your friends database at the same time. What do you say? Give traffic generation tips, marketing hot tips, share information that can help them in their current business. People will always want to know more about you if they are receiving great content from you. POWERFUL. Send out 2-3 bulletins per week to get your friends in the habit of receiving your info...
Blog Posts - MySpace has built in blogs that show up at the very top of your page. Write training content there or personal development posts to help others... same psychology... you are positioning yourself as a coach, or someone that offers a high value to your readers...
All these methods work in different ways to get your ONLY MISSION accomplished with myspace: To have good quality people get to know you and curious enough to get to your lead capture page to find out more about what you can offer to help them...
6. Once you've created your myspace page, click the browse link to find the type of people you want to market to and connect with. You can search by gender, age, location, ethnicity, etc. Think about focusing on either common interests/hobbies or common career backgrounds.
7. If you really want to get creative and receive maximum effectiveness, in the 'about me' section, create a YouTube video using your webcam and take the embedded code and paste it right into the 'about me' section. The embedded code is to the right of your YouTube video after it's uploaded. Hint: Your video should be about why you created the profile and why you can bring value to someone's life.
8. Download the free version of Friend-Blaster (Google this and download it ). Once you have it downloaded, begin to go to the profiles of influential people and get the id's of their friends and ask them to become your friend by doing an 'add friend request.'
Make sure that when you do an add friend request - you also include a quick note. Your note can be something like this – “Looking to make some great friends, please check out my profile, and if you think we're likeminded, ad me as a friend.”
The person will usually check out your page and profile and either approve you or deny you. If they approve you, your myspace page and their myspace page will be connected as being friends. If you want to really turbo charge this strategy, I recommend purchasing a software program called friend-blaster-pro.com which will allow you to invite 50 - 100 friends per DAY in myspace, which will in turn, help you generate tons of free leads to your website!
Now, you get the basic idea; repeat this everyday by requesting 50 new friends. Post comments on other people's profile. Create a group, a blog, join groups, post comments, etc.
Once you have ONE profile down pat, create 5 to 10 more profiles. Keep them exactly the same. The easiest way to do this is to copy all your content including any html code for each section of your myspace profile and save that to your hard drive to use for copying and pasting into other profiles. Follow the same routine above everyday and pretty soon you'll have several people a day going to your profile and clicking on your links and going to your website...and that is how you get HOT, Targeted, Free Prospects!
Hot Tip #1 - You can also post friendly personalized bulletins. When you post a bulletin, a link to your bulletin will be posted on each of your friend’s myspace pages. If you have 5,000 myspace friends, than you can literally have a message sent to all 5,000 of these people for free. However, remember that you must be personal with your messages. Talk like you're talking to your best friend. Do NOT talk to people like customers. Myspace is a place for friends and you must respect that.
Hot Tip #2 - Post friendly comments on your myspace friends’ pages and include a link to your website. Then, everybody who goes to your friend’s myspace page will see your comment and your link. Some will click on your picture to become your friend and some will click on the link to go to your website.
Alot of this info can seem overwhelming at first, which is why the most important thing about getting started is GETTING STARTED, and doing SOMETHING everyday to move towards your dream!
