This is not unlike dating. Think about when you meet a girl. She wants to know if this is the guy whom she wants to get to know better. You have 15 seconds to make a first impression. If the impression is not good then whatever you say or do does not matter. The same thing happens when you are prospecting the prospect has a few of the following questions or more. Can you do the job?, Will you turn off my contacts? Do you have a training call? Are you the type that can keep your word? That is before business comes in. The people will judge you by your body language and how you say stuff. They can tell if you are telling the truth or just want to easily influence them. If one is suprised that someone else does not join them they should ask themselves those questions.
