How to leverage BetterNetworker for success...
Do you know the story of the tortoise and the hare?
Do you remember the moral of the story?
"Slow and steady wins the race."
Everyone has something to contribute, because everyone has had different life experiences, and therefore, a different perspective. Do not undervalue what you *do* know by focusing on what you don't yet know.
Here is the formula that I am using to build my status at BetterNetworker.
1) Change your account settings so that you "auto-accept" all friend requests.
2) When someone new joins your network, make a comment on their guestbook and introduce yourself.
3) Make three new connections daily (you can easily find people in groups that you have joined).
4) Check your friends' blogs daily until you find one post worthy of commenting on. Be sure that your post is insightful and adds value. (5 pts.)
5) Check out the forums and leave an insightful comment there daily (10 pts.)
6) Join one new group each week.
7) Post to at least one of the groups you belong to each day. (10 pts.)
6) Post one article per week. (25 pts.)
After one month of diligently following this formula, you will have 850 points.
After a year, you'll have over 10,000!!!
Granted, there will be days or even weeks when you might not be able to contribute in a meaningful way. But a little bit of effort each day will soon bring you to the ranks of the "gurus."

Absolutely...
Great advice and I'm following 'most of it' lol... I have a few of your steps that I will be doing on a more regular basis - what I like is that there is NO SHORTAGE of opportunity... I have so much I can do, meaning so many choices, and I love the practice and networking I 'receive' here on BN!

Thanks for the breakdown
There's so much here that it's easy to get unfocused on how to get where I want to be. Thanks for making it so simple.
