You end up losing money, and confidence right along with it. So what do you do when you've failed in a home based business before? Should you start again in a new company? Or just walk away? When you've failed in a home based business your instincts might just tell you to give up on your dream and walk away. Losing money is hard and for a lot of people it's something that they just can't get over. However it's important to know that home based business success is REAL! It IS attainable and you can have it! You just have to find the right company.
Now I'm sure that pretty much every company will say that they are the right company but it's really more about finding the company that is right for YOU. Just because you failed in one business doesn't mean you can't be massively successful in another. If you have a family you'll want to sit down and talk to them, especially your spouse, and find out if starting a new company at this moment is even an option. Depending on how much money you lost it might not be. However, don't give up on the dream forever.
There really is no job out there that can ever give you the kind of freedom that a home based business will give you. The freedom to do what you want, when you want and have the money to actually do it! Don't give up on your dreams just because of one bad company or one failed attempt. Getting back on the saddle can be really hard but proving to yourself that you can do it will make it all worth it.
Take the things that caused you to fail in the last company and use them to help you find a better company that will give you the resources and the support you need to really win. If your problem in the last company was that it didn't have a good enough product find one that you can really grab a hold of and succeed with, if the compensation plan wasn't strong enough do your research and find a better one that will allow you to make more money up front- you get the idea. At the end of the day losing money is hard, but it's not as hard as spending the rest of your life in a job that you don't like or making a paycheck that's less than you deserve.
You deserve financial freedom; you deserve to find a home based business that will work for you!

Hi Rose,
You bring up some good points. Remember, it is not your fault that you may have failed in your MLM. You need to find a company that fits you and your skill set. There is not one "perfect" company out there otherwise everyone would be signing up as we speak.
Your success in a company is about 10% the company and 90% you. That will be difficult for some people to wrap their brains around but who am I to say? I am not a "GURU" and don't market on "hype", just facts.
So, I wish you all the success that you have coming to you.

Getting Back in the Saddle
Nice work Rose, you bring up a very important point here in this article. I'm sure that if there is a 97% failure rate in this industry, then the "try again" rate has to be near 50%. So I think your post is aimed at a large portion of the industry.
There is a famous quote that goes like this, "There is no success like failure and failure is no success at all." So much can be learned from our past failures, that if we heed those lessons, we can use that to succeed as we move forward.
The only thing I would add to this post is the fact that for many people it comes down to learning how to market the opportunity. Because no matter what company it is, people have to learn how to get it in front of people.
I like the way you write, and I hope to see more of it coming in the future. You have a good perspective and a good head on your shoulders.
