How to Sell your MLM Product and Company Online

Stop selling it.

Stop telling about about.

Stop vomiting all over your prospect how great your compensation plan is, how great your product is, how many famous people are using it, how this opportunity is perfectly positioned to explode, etc.

Think about it... if someone did that to you, what would you do?

You'd turn off, drop out, run away, roll your eyes or tell them to shut the heck up!

This kind of old-school, old-fashioned selling is DEAD! No one cares about your product, company or comp plan. No one cares about the awards, if your company is on the stock market or whatever else.

So what does your prospect care about? What would make them interested in your opportunity?

YOU!

Yes, you!

Ever notice how much personal development is advocated in Network Marketing? Have you wondered why?

This industry has also been referred to as 'Relationship Marketing'. Are you seeing where I am going with this?

If you go out on a first date, would you vomit all over your date, all of your personal achievements, who you know, how great you are – literally the equivalent of bragging? How long do you think that date will last?

Did you find out anything about that other person?

So here is the secret: stop selling your company, product and comp plan. Instead, be yourself. How do you make new friends? Apply the same principles of making new friendships. Get to know the person. Find out their likes and dislikes, who they are, where they have been, what are their passions in life. Ask. Listen.

There's a wonderful expression: We were given one mouth and two ears. Use your Ears twice as much.

Try it out and notice the difference. If you have a connection with someone, do you think you have a better chance of telling them about what you do? Of course you do... it's normal conversation for the other person to eventually ask about what you do.

Now if you actually listened to what they told you about themselves when you were asking them questions about 'who they are' then you may already know that they are or are not a good prospect for you.

Now get out their and try this new tactic. If you are not getting the results you want in your business then you need to try something different in order to get a different result!
