How to shake the bad breath off
This is a very touchy touchy topic that we refuse to talk about either we’re the offenders or the offended. It’s no secret that most people at some point go through a breath situation due to food, drinks, smoking or health related.
But most people think that ignoring the issue will make it goes away or even worst, they think it’ll be fixed. Sorry but a bad breath situation is like any other problem therefore the only and easiest way to solve it is facing it. Going around it will only make it worst.
And for your info most toothpastes and mouthwashes make the bear angrier rather than kill it. That’s why some people brush several times a day, clean their tongue and even gargle with traditional mouthwash for even 2 to 3 minutes and if right after they do this they talk to you on your face you may feel like passing out or even retching.
Alcohol in your mouth!
Traditional oral care products like toothpastes and mouthwashes only mask the problem. Alcohol is one of the substances highly responsible for breath problems. Dr. Harold Katz founder of the California Breath Clinics discovered that:
- Your current mouthwash probably contains more alcohol than a 6-pack of beer!
- Your toothpaste may contain a kind of SOAP that drastically dries out your mouth!
- Bad Breath does NOT come from the stomach!
Keep for your records that alcohol makes your mouth dry and a dry mouth means stinky breath.
Furthermore, a stinky breath situation can happen to anybody including you and me because as I said before it can happen under many circumstances (certain foods: dairy, garlic, onion, beer, wine, etc; some medications and EVEN some traditional tooth pastes and mouthwashes).
Stop talking to others like there’s something wrong with you by looking down while speaking thinking that by doing so the person you’re talking to won’t notice your not fresh breath. And don’t you think about chewing ordinary chewing gums either, this won’t help. What you really need is something that attacks and solves the problem once and for all.
Personal experience
Did you know that your allergy and nasal sinus condition may cause you bad breath or worsen it if the condition already exists?
Dr. Harold Katz has also stated that Post Nasal Drip and Nasal-Sinus Congestion Will Transform a Case of "Normal" Breath into BAD Breath and "Bad" Breath into HORRIBLE Breath!
This been said let me tell you that I suffer from allergies. I was suffering from tonsil stones as well (smelly little yellowish stones formed in those cavities at both sides on the back of your mouth) due to post nasal drip. This constant dripping in the back of your mouth also causes stinky breath. Fact is this drip is rich in protein. The bacteria that causes breath problems feeds on protein.
That’s why I used to carry my toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash and chewing gums and mints to my job to avoid offending others but with no results. It is very frustrating to know you have a condition/problem that affects/offends others and you can do nothing about it. But I never give up. I did my research and here I am, talking to people looking in the eyes and very confident I have a fresh breath.
You don’t have to be embarrassed about your breath anymore. Get the confidence of talking to friends, family and even your spouse without knocking them out. From now on stinky breath is not an option.
Don’t let any situation/problem hold you back/down!
I say this because many people still think breath problem is inherited or GERD (Gastro esophageal reflux disease). Though there are some cases that need medical attention the percentage is really small. You don’t have to live with something that bad when it’s so easy to get rid of it.
Remember, stinky breath doesn’t have to be a problem anymore. You have too many other important things to worry about to slow down worrying about your breath.
