How to Use Free Web 2.0 and Search Engine Traffic to *Stuff* Your Inbox With Free MLM Leads Quickly
The secret to getting leads isn't about reproducing the same content over and over using mass article or video submission software. It's all about leveraging the networks of others. You'll learn how to do that using Web 2.0 in the following article...
The secret to getting hundreds of free Network Marketing leads and sales every day is to start small and to always leverage your efforts.
Most traffic methods are easy enough to get small short-term results with. But the real challenge is to turn those results into repeating long-term ones.
Say you write an article in an ezine like ezinearticles.com. The day you get published, you'll get 1, 3, or maybe even 5 leads. But if you don't turn some heads quickly, the results will stop the next day.
A well-written press release submitted to 24-7pressrelease.com might send you 40 leads for your MLM opportunity in a single day. But on its own will rarely bring you any more after that.
Your MySpace profile or YouTube video may bring your Home Business a few leads if you have a lot of friends in your network, but it will take forever to put your video in front of enough people to make it worthwhile the effort.
Without a way to accumulate the effect of multiple MLM lead generation sources, it's going to take forever to get leads, customers, and distributors, right?
Smart Network Marketers online find ways to leverage their consistent efforts and they compound them on top of each other.
For example, while some people might create a single YouTube video and post it and wait for a decent number of views to generate MLM Leads--smart Network Marketers find ways to reuse the video which took them a lot of time and effort to create.
So they bookmark their video with del.icio.us, a social bookmarking site. Then they "digg" it at digg.com. Then they create a lens at squidoo.com and embed their YouTube video there as well.
This exposes their video to views from other networks of people who they wouldn't have had access to before.
But guess what happens now?
The people on YouTube who saw the video will leave some comments and leave feedback. They'll talk about it and share it with their friends. People on digg.com who come across your "dugg" video will discuss it in digg with their friends and refer THEIR networks. The same happens with people on del.icio.us and Squidoo.
But why stop there?
These online MLM Home Business marketers post their video on their Wordpress blog and add it to their MySpace profile to get even more exposure in more of their networks.
And if they're using Google Adwords to promote their capture page, well, they may as well embed their video on their capture page and make it autoplay. After all, they're getting a lot of clicks that cost them money anyway and not all of them opt-in or buy.
Why not turn those clicks into useful "view count" on YouTube?
Yes! YouTube will count the number of views your video gets wherever it's embedded. And the more views it gets, the more YouTube thinks it's popular and starts to recommend it on the front page and as "related video" when prospects are watching similar videos post by others!
Not only that--but the people who notice your popular video start blogging about it and embedding it in their Google Adsense blogs. Their visitors start to discussed it and leave comments too.
Finally, the Search Engine giants like Google and Yahoo start to see all these related discussions and comments around the simple video. Now they start sending targeted MLM leads right to you because they're ranking your page as some pretty relevant content to anyone searching for information on Network Marketing.
And all of this started with a single video.
But most Network Marketers write one article and stop. Post one video and stop. Then they wonder why they get no leads for their Home Business.
Do you realise the potential to generate enormous numbers of MLM leads by leveraging a single lead generation effort with cross-promotion? Can you see how you can create a snowball effect of piles of cash, product sales, and distributor enrolments--simply by leveraging the networks and contents of millions of other people?

Sneaky... I like it.
Cleaver, man. The power of Web 2.0 is not in any one technology. It's in having all the technologies like Squidoo, YouTube, MySpace, etc. connected together... working together.
Nice work.
Awesome article Jim!
Jim,
Great article. I'm thinking about how to implement your suggestions ASAP ...
All the Best,
Mark

I didn't know that you can embed YouTube Videos into your Squido
Great article Jim, I haven't seen any videos embedded into any Squidoo lens. Can you show an example of any? I'd like to ad a video clip to my lens if I only knew how.
Thanks,
Steve
YouTubeVideos on Squidoo
It's easy to add a video to a Squidoo lens.
There is a module to do just this. There is a menu that let's you pick the video and then you eneter the URL.
You can also add your own title and subtitle.
Check out the video on this lens:

Hope this helps,
Mark
OK - Jim - Fantastic!
There is not much I can say about your article on using Web 2.0 to generate many MLM or Newtwork Marketing Leads but this: "You Man Rock!"
Keep educating with your very easy language and I hope you will impact many old and new generation of network marketers. ;)
Thanks for that tip - I just added a video to my Squidoo lens!
Thanks Mark, I had missed the video module when setting the lens up and have just added one to the lens at www.SuperWonderJuice.com
Would prefer if Squidoo gave the option to use your pick of YouTube players with your other videos.
Cheers,
Steve Shulenski
On First Page of Google in under 6 hours
SIX hours after putting this article up on Magnetic Sponsoring i searched in Google for the keyword "MLM Web 2.0" (without quotes) and was listed on the first page.
It's linked to "digg" and it's linked to "Stumbleupon" that's all. I did. The rest is up to the title's keywords and the competition.
Having shared the article on this community got people adding it to both their digg and stumbleupon networks. It accumulated MORE relevant keywords, thanks to you guys in the community. This makes it "relevant" and "changing" content. Google likes that :-)
The same article was posted to an article directory and my blog where it's exposed to more "digging" from other users.
Notice i linked the article to my video on dailymotion?
I've passed on the importance of this page (which has stacked up now from all the other networks it's linked from) onto another network.
There is a momentum now that can't be stopped.
Just wanted to demonstrate the power of leveraging your efforts like i described above.
Thanks guys for all the awesome comments! You've really encouraged me to share more ideas :-)

You tube secret
A lot of this social networking is about providing value. The secret of you tube is branding yourself with your videos. A lot people on there just pitch their programs and don't give any value. People watch you tube to be entertained. If you're videos are entertaining there is a greater likelihood they'll go viral and get you a ton of leads. I am working on this myself and have seen some good results.
Great article.
It's all about providing the value to other people.

The EASIEST Way to Get MASSIVE Web 2.0 Traffic!
Hey Jim,
Awesome article...I can't agree more. The buzz on the net right now about video and social marketing to get massive traffic is getting close to deafening, and you've hit the nail on the head!
One of the challenges we all face though is the time required to make this happen on a large scale when you're trying target multiple sites to further increase your rankings...the goal being not just to get one listing on Google's frontpage, but perhaps 5-8 to even 10 of the rankings on the first page (or, shudder to think, the first 3 pages altogether ;D).
As I've studied this myself and have started using it to generate traffic, I stumbled across a tool that's made the process of posting to social media/video sites 1,000 times easier, saving literally HOURS of work and multiplying my efforts.
It's called Traffic Geyser, and here are a few of the benefits of using it:
* It generates massive traffic and amazing search engine results in only a handful of hours
* It saves 15 to 20 HOURS on each video submission
* No video? There is a Slideshow Creator that takes your audio files and turns them into video 'slideshows' which you can then upload to the top video sites...THIS IS HUGE!!
* No audio? Use the Traffic Geyser toll-free number to record your own audio content over the phone.
It's not a free service, and you can do everything the program does on your own, but it'll save you literally dozens of hours uploading to all the different sites out there. Seeing as we're all network marketers looking to leverage ourselves, this has been one of the best investments I've made.
You can find a tutorial video about how it works here:
http://www.TrafficGeyser.com/cmd.php?af=705391&u=www.trafficgeyser.com/tg/
Or check out the sales page herehttp://www.1shoppingcart.com/app/aftrack.asp?afid=705391
In the interest of full disclosure, I do get a kickback from purchases from these links, but I did want to put this up since I know how much value I've gotten from using the service and how much value there is to be gained from using it. Check out the videos and if it looks like it'll help anyone out, awesome!
Keep up the awesome work!
To your success,
Steve
Re: The EASIEST Way to Get MASSIVE Web 2.0 Traffic!
Hi Steve,
That tool is a great tool Fernando introduced me to and it was one of the main inspirations for this article.
You're right Traffic Gyser is really good because it gives you almost instant results on Google (kind of short-term though). The key is to use the keyword you want to be ranked for in the title and then run it.
Fernando goes into quite a bit of detail about this tool and others like it (to get Google to work for you and make those results more long-term) in his own course at http://www.attractionmarketingformula.com which i picked up for the ridiculously low price he had there.
The difference though between my suggestion and what Traffic Gyser can do is that Traffic Gyser is about mass submitting the same video to multiple sites. This will get MULTIPLE entries in Google but it will not leverage the SEO effort to make those results stick.
Just so that everyone is clear about this, submitting copies of the same thing in multiple sites is one way to leverage the effort of creating the content. But if you want to make Google see your video/article as IMPORTANT, you need to get inbound links toward it from different networks.
That's why i suggest using social bookmarking sites and even if you do post new/duplicate content in other places, make sure you have links back to a single location.
After several site submissions, dailymotion ranked one of my video on the 10th page for a competitive keyword at first. But after i put multiple "entry points" into the dailymotion video over the next 3 days i pulled its rank to the first page.
Just beware that i'm not suggesting multiple submissions of the same content--but rather multiple links INTO to the same submission.

Exactly What I Needed
Jim: Your article gave me the tools I need to promote my site. Thank you for sharing this valuable information.
Re: The EASIEST Way to Get MASSIVE Web 2.0 Traffic!
Hey Jim,
Good clarification - the "web 2.0 SEO" stuff can be a little tricky sometimes. Sounds like using a combo of TG to get multiple videos out there quickly, and then backing that up with inbound links to the videos from other social media postings will get the multiple rankings AND make them important over the long-haul!
There are a couple of other videos out there that give some good insight and thought-process to this approach - they're done by the guys at StomperNet (a more traditional internet marketing outfit), and they're excellent. Check out the latest video that covers this topic of social media traffic here: http://www.stompernet.net/goingnatural2/?vid=5
It's 50 minutes long, so pull up a chair and a snack - and a pen and paper to take notes. It will take some thinking to apply this directly to MLM, but in the end, marketing is marketing, as Mike has taught us.
To your success,
Steve Young

great article jim, would have never thought of doing this on my own.
GREAT ARTICLE!
I'm still new to all this, but this is some REALLY good info! THANKS! 8)
Fast Traffic
Hey Jim,
Good work! You have made it so easy for the begginers as well as for the novis's - the "web 2.0 SEO" stuff can be a little complicated. But you have clearly explained it with simplicity. This is very important stuff!!
Thanks
KalvinJ
It's Not Really Fair
Jim,
Your article is getting 10x as many reads as most of the other articles posted. And is about 2x as high as the next highest one. That's not very fair to the other authors. :P
It just goes to show that when you leverage all the Web 2.0 technologies TOGETHER, you can create immense traffic.
It's not fair when you're using such techniques! It's like you found a loophole in the rules that let you play basketball on stilts!
But you know what? It doesn't have to be fair. Just because you've found a new level to play on doesn't mean you have to feel sorry for anyone! They can start playing on that field too if they just decide to do it!
Great stuff,
Ryan
WOW!
This is AMAZING!!!! Nothing else needs to be said :)
Next wave of advertising
Jim,
Thanks for the interesting article. Great to know how to use the next wave of advertising with Web 2.0

Cross Promotion
Its brilliant but so simple and what I thought should be obvious.
But very early on, I did just what you said. Post once and "think" Google was going to flood me with quality leads because they picked up that "one" article.
It doesn't work like that for sure...but with our gift of multiple networks, its something that should be done on a routine basis for articles, videos or whatever.
Great post Jim and awesome reminder for me! ;D
Thanks for this I shall be using some of your suggestions right away!
Thanks...You Have Opened My Eyes!!
Wow!! You opened my eyes to new ideas. Thanks so much :-*
Network Quality
You've got a good point that often times in social media you've got to utilize all the possible distribution methods to find one that sticks. However, just realize that the quality of your networks (how many friends you have, how long you have been a member, etc.) will influence how much traction your efforts get. A new member on Digg submitting a story will get virtually no traffic because the page they submit will disappear in a matter of seconds.
