I'm glad a new year is coming - I NEED A FRESH START@@
Its hard to believe but next year will soon be here - I'm glad in one way - its a fresh start to do better next year than I did this year - on line I need to use what I already have and become better using what I'm already into and avoid any tempting distractions -
[A HOME ] - I need to work more with family and friends -
[At work] - I just need to improve my attitude some times -
[At church] - its better commitment in doing my duties -
[At finances] its using them better than every before -
That's a lot to do but I already have a base line to work with it's called my old habits - do I expect miracles - no, but I do expect some tractable improvement in all of the above areas - even if it is small -
@@ SMALL IS BETTER THAN NONE AT ALL @@ -
did you get the miracle in that statement - improvement even if its small is better than no improvement at all - make this coming year the best year yet in your life - live life with few if not no regrets buy moving forward and knowing you can't do it by your self - you were never supposed to do it alone - find and make peace with your self and others - even God - and see what happens -

I've had to learn to pay my self first -
Don't get me wrong - when I say pay my self first!
I used to pay a 10% tithing, for over 35 years, but it cut too deep and we made a lot of sacrifices to do just that - the time came when - I had to decide - was I going to continue this and live on the street and loose every thing? Or Pay my self first?
You see there was a conflict going on, I knew the church doctrines vary well, so many years they taught you to pay a tithe first and you would receive many blessings -- that's true but there was one problem the blessing of increased income does NOT come with paying a tithe- it does come with paying increase fast offerings,
also we are taught to be self sufficient - this includes taking care of your self BEFORE you take care of the church!
So instead of loosing the home and living on the street - I decided to start paying my self first each pay period - so I could have money set a side to pay taxes and insurance on the house!
Now - my wife still has her own choice and she does pay a tithe, so we are partly worthy to attend the temple - if all of this sounds a bit strange - you would have to be raised in the lds church and be temple worthy to understand what I'm talking about -
Does this mean the church is not true - no way - but it does mean that - not all of US - can easily pay a full tithing and other offerings to stay temple worthy in that church-
Now there is a lot more to the story - I need to increase my income and cut costs and work towards being able to pay a full tithe and offerings - will it happen? I'm working on it - but more effort will have to take place before it happens!
THOSE THAT CAN DO THIS EASILY ARE GREATLY BLESSED -
I DON'T THINK ITS EASY FOR ANY ONE BUT THOSE THAT HAVE A GREAT INCOME ARE GREATLY BLESSED!
There is so much to do and so little time -
Learn to be more self sufficient and pay your self first, if you are able to do that you can help others too, but first you need to be able to take care of your responsibilities first - than worry about helping others!
Make it a great day - Roger L Martin -
