It Changed Our Lives

 Our names are Mike & Joy McCullough our lives changed in a major way with the start of 2006. You see on January 2nd at 2:45pm we received that dreaded phone call my Father was being rushed to the hospital and had suffered a heart attack. Upon arriving at the hospital we were met by my Mother and Sister Nancy with a worried expression on there faces.
 
 At that point we were afraid to here the news they was about to be shared with us. The news thankfully was not nearly as bad as what we had initially expected his condition was presently stable, but there was going to be a long road ahead which would include bypass surgery as well as heart valve replacement. Today my Father is doing fine and we are careful to take advantage of each precious moment we have while he is still part of our lives. Going through this whole process has brought about a new awareness for Joy and me. We realized how so many including ourselves take so much in this life we live granted.
 
  After seeing my father on the recovery table after his heart surgery realizing how fortunate we were to still have him as part of our lives, triggered something inside of us. During our trip home from the hospital that night Joy and I had a discussion about how we were only given one chance in this life, and how we should always be careful to take advantage of each and every moment that we are given. We knew right then and there that there had to be changes in our lives to make this happen for us and our family. You see we were your typical working parents, giving what ever it took to our employers to provide for the needs of our family. But unfortunately the thing that our employers required the most of was our time, and that was the one thing we can never get back. That was the one thing we had just come to realize could not be taken for granted.  Tomorrow was not something that was guaranteed, and that the time we are given in this life should be spent on things that truly matter in our lives.
 
 So the next problem we faced was to figure out how exactly we were going to do this? What was the answer to our problem; we knew what we needed to do but did not even have a clue how to go about achieving it.    
 
 I do not believe it was by chance the a few days later we were introduced to our very first mlm opportunity thru a close friend from church. He explained to us how by hard work and dedication mlm could provide for us everything we were looking to achieve in our lives. We admit we were a little nervous at first and still have not fulfilled all of our goals, but because of the opportunities available within network marketing we sure are all lot closer. We have come to realize that it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. We are truly thankful to the networking Industry; our lives have not been the same.
