It's Your Fault, Or Is It?
I don't know who originally wrote this, but I found it in a great book called "The PowerMind System":
If you hate your job and you DECIDE to stay there,
it's your fault.
If someone offers you a better job, but it requires
you to move to another city, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE to save no money during your working
lifetime, winding up broke and embarrassed at age 65,
dependent on charities for survival, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE not to study or read in your chosen
field and find yourself never rising above mere
mediocrity, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE to spend more money than you make,
running yourself into debt by satisfying one
capricious whim after another, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE to waste all your time on meaningless
activities, neglecting all the important things you
could do with your life, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE never to read a self-help book and then
suffer dramatically because you are ignorant of success
principles, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE to smoke three packs of cigarettes a day,
then get lung cancer, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE to spend no time building a loving
relationship with your spouse and your spouse
divorces you, it's your fault.
If your life isn't working out well and you DECIDE
to do nothing about it, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE never to help anyone else in life
and wind up lonely, it's your fault.
If you DECIDE on goals that are completely self-serving
and you have a hard time getting others to support you,
it's your fault.
If you DECIDE never to pray and find that God works
no miracles in your life, it's your fault.

So, what is the first step to wealth building or success in any area of your life?
If you have made the conscious decision to become a Network Marketer but everything up to this point has not worked....that is NOT your fault. I can show you why.

Fault or not...
I'm so happy I found my home, after all the years of trial and effort, failure and frustration.. its a great feeling to find a home!
Picture me scratching my head...
If all that stuff in the poem IS your fault and points to you being completely responsible (or irresponsible), then why is it NOT my fault if my network marketing business is not working? What makes that so different from all that other stuff that is my fault? Hmmmm?

Scratching your head
You should scratch your head. There is no difference. Leaders accept responsibility for ALL aspects of their lives.

It Becomes Your Fault...
When you have educated yourself and found the truth of what works, and what does not, when building a business online, and then do nothing about it. Yes, then it truly becomes your fault.
faults
We are all responsible for our destinies. One way or another what we become is all about what we thin of ourselfs and that is our fault.

Fault?
I agree with Joyce Penner, a leader takes responsibility for decisions like the ones that you have listed above Diane. And I guess Joyce is saying that your lack of success in your MLM is your fault also because it is your responsibility to read the policy and procedures before you join a company. But Diane Thank you for the great post and you are a great leader. Keep up the good work!

Self Evaluation
This was a self-evaluation for people to take a look at their own life. I definitely know what it takes and you are right....Leaders do accept responsibility for all aspects of their lives. That is exactly what I was trying to point out in case someone was questioning where they were in their own life.....
