Know your "why" for doing your business

"Why" you want to do your business is one of the most important factors to your success.

If you don't know "why" you have decided to jump into a MLM company, chances are you are going to fail.  I believe one of the first things you should do before joining any opportunity (or think about if you already are a part of a MLM company) is figure out your "why". 

 What do I mean by this?  Figure out why are you doing what you are doing.  Dale Calvert, a national MLM trainer, states this:  "Until you know your why, the how doesn't matter".  I qualified for and attended my company's National Training School back in November, and this phrase by Dale makes so much sense!  When you talk to prospects or team members, make sure you are finding out their "why".  I use this information to keep my team members on track to reaching their goals.  When they get frustrated or discouraged, I remind them of their "why" and it puts things into perspective and helps them get back on track. 

Your "why" can be so many things...for me, my why is my children.  I want them to have a great future and I don't want them to lack anything.  I will not spoil them, but will provide them with the opportunity to attend the best schools, show them the world through travel, and basically provide for all their needs without them ever having to hear "we can't afford that"!   

 So...figure out your "why" today!  If it's just "to make more money", get more specific than that.  What do you want the money for?  What will you do with it once you have it? 

 There are so many fantastic opportunities out there.  Find the one that best suits you, one that you can get passionate about, then start helping people reach their goals and dreams after they join your team.  Help them figure out their "why", and celebrate the successes together along the way.
