Lead Marketing MLM Secrets
Some people will tell you that you’ll see a lot of rejection when you enter into MLM business and that you should get used to it and learn from it. I don’t think that’s right! Why learn from rejection when you can learn to avoid it in the first place. We need to go back to the basics, review what we were taught as kids and apply it because you know you’re parents were right.
We have to start off with manners. Don’t call me up in my house and be an arrogant salesman! Hard selling is good and it works, but not for everyone and certainly not for every business. If you call someone up who you know is an interested lead, then be kind and speak politely. You’ll be surprised at how they react to this unsuspected KIND call as they are sick of all the telemarketers calling them and selling them ridiculous things.
Next is a bit on the tricky side. There are two important things that contradict each other but still have to be applied to your MLM business. You need to sell yourself, and you need to make it all about the customer! Now don’t panic, this is not an impossible act, it just sounds confusing. A little getting used to and you’ll know what I mean.
When you try to recruit someone or sell them something, never brag about the product. You have to tell them how the product can help them and how it will make their lives easier. When you get the person at a comfortable friendly level with you, then you can sell yourself (around the bush of course). Tell them how you do things, how you’ve become successful and how they can be too! Always make it about them being happy in the need and them being successful. With this technique, you won’t need to get used to rejection.
