"Lessons I learned from my Father that have helped in my Network Marketing business!"

I wanted to write this post today in honor of my Father’s 56th Birthday.  As kids we learn a lot from our parents.  There were a few things that my Father taught me over the years that I lived under his roof that have helped me immensely in my Network Marketing business.

There are three things that I would say about my Father that make up his Character:

• Loyalty
• Perfection
• Strict Discipline

Let’s first talk about Loyalty.  I think it is vital that you build a loyal customer/ business builder base over your career.  Loyalty is a great trait to have when building that loyal base.  If your team knows that you are loyal to them and that you have their back at all times they will follow you to the ends of the Earth.  It’s important to know that your customers in Network Marketing are loyal to a product and your business builders are loyal to you!  So take care of your business partners!  If you do, then you will always have a loyal base.

Second, lets talk about perfection and how my Father being so much about perfection would drive me in my Network Marketing business.  Growing up with my Father I never felt like what I did was ever to his standard.  It drove me to be the top of the game and never settle for second best!  Growing up it was all about the approval of my Father but it is a trait that has followed me into adulthood as well as my Network Marketing business.  I will never forget my Father’s reaction when he learned that I had left my Wal-Mart career to pursue a career in Network Marketing!  Yeah, your right he thought I was CRAZY!  Well now I have far exceeded my annual income from Wal-Mart and he is totally supportive of my career in Network Marketing!  I felt it was very important that I could prove this was not only a viable business but the best out there!

Third, lets talk about strict discipline.  My Father ruled our house with an iron fist.  There was no doubt in any of our minds growing up that Dad ruled the roost!  So your saying to yourself what does that have to do with Network Marketing?  Simple…Strict Discipline.  It is very important that you have real discipline in growing your business.  You must stay focused daily with effort that is consistent and disciplined.  As a self employed business owner you don’t have an iron fisted boss telling you to get to work!  So you must be that iron fisted boss to yourself.  Hence, Strict Self Discipline!

It’s amazing that those three simple words can be the words that guide a successful Network Marketing business: Loyalty, perfection and strict discipline!
