MagSponoring Help Needed
OK, here is what I need help with...
Obviously, I already have my affiliate links, but what do I do now?
Do I need my own domain names to mask the affiliate links showing below or how do I get the traffic to those pages? Just because I have those links doesn't mean the traffic will auto show up, I know that. 8-)
I've never done any of this, ever. I came here to learn how, but have been finding more of others capture pages than I have learned exactly how to get started.
Who here will lend their hand to offer some solid suggestions on how to start recouping some of the monies I've already invested?
Thanks in advance for any real help,
Rabb

Ok Whats Next
Hey Rabb...
Sounds like you are a little frustrated.
I understand...
Hopefully I can make things a little clearer for you.
I would just like to recap what I beleive are the most important concepts of the Magnetic Sponsoring Manual and give you the big picture.
Understanding the big picture will help you understand "why" you should take the next steps that I am going to suggest.
1) Attracting customers to any business all lies in the understanding of human behavior. This understanding of human behavior can be used to set up a "process" to establish relationships and bring customers to you.
One of those behaviors, which has been studied and countless experiements conducted, is called Authority. Authority is based on the perception of increased value one may gain from another person.
What is value? Value is relative.
If you knew how to solve a problem that I had and did not know how to solve. I would be attracted to you becuase i would like to obtain that value that you hold and I would perceive you as an authority.
2) Increase your value. Constantly learn new things so you can pass that value on. Read,Read,Read.
So...
To me those are the most important concepts of the book. Attracting customers/team members to you is about learning the "process" and undertanding why that process works. The human phycology behind it.
The second concept is about increasing your skills so you will have value to offfer others.
The book does not spell out what that process is and this is why you feel stuck.
So here it is...
By the way, once i tell you this... you will most likely have some more detailed questions about the process. That is where the other books come in. They go into further detail about each step in the process.
1)advertising ( email people you know that might benefit (like reccomending a movie), pay-per click, banner ads, blogs, etc)
2) capture page (free give away)
3) Sales Letter
4) Auto Responder follow up/ you personally follow up
Now, let me talk about the process a bit. There is alot of pshycology going into this process from the customer stand point.
1) no one likes to be sold, you or me. It has to be your idea. if you have ever bought a car or went into a retail store in the mall. What happens before you get your foot in the door or out of a car. some one rushes to you with "can i help you". you say no just looking. this is because you are not ready to engage with the sales person. when and if you are ready you will let them know. So this process lets the prospect engaage when they are ready with no direct involvement from you.
2) the phsyclogoial behavor of recirprocity is being used.
I am sorry Rabb it is 11pm my time and i am getting really tired, i want to continue but i am starting to spell words wrong. I will continue my post tommorow if you wish.
OK, What's Next?
Interesting response, thank you. I've requested being your "friend" and await your approval. Then, yes, I have a few more questions, when you're not so tired.

Ok whats next...continued
Reciprocity is a tactic that makes one feel obligated to another person. There was a study done in which unknowing participants sat in an office lobby waiting to be called on to participate in an academic experiment. As they sat in the lobby they would be engaged in a conversation by one of the professors dressed like a student. The professor would excuse himself and go to a vending machine and buy two cokes that cost 0.25 cents. Upon returning he would give the unknowing participant one of the cokes. Later on the professor would ask the unknowing participant if he would like to buy some raffle tickets that cost 1 dollar. The unknowing participant often bought 2 to 3 raffle tickets because they felt obligated to do so. The professor spent .50 cents and often made 3 dollars from raffle ticket sales. A 2.50 dollar profit.
So how does this fit into the process?
Step one is driving people to a capture page through your advertisement. It was their idea to further look into what you have to offer.
When they get to your capture page, you give them the information that they are looking for away for free. This is reciprocity in action. Giving them something for free will subtly obligate them to you sometime down the road if you can prove that you can add value to them through your free give away.
The third step is your sales letter. In the copy (words) of your capture pages and free give away you prove without a doubt that you can solve their problems, thus establishing authority. Now some people will be ready to move forward now and some may not. For those that are ready to move forward now, they will buy what you are offering on your sales letter right now. Most will not because they don’t trust you yet or there is not enough belief within your capture pages, free give away etc. or some just may be looking and are not even sure what they want. That is okay, and this is where the fourth step comes into play.
The fourth step is the auto responder. It has a couple of purposes. Its purpose is to build belief in what you have to offer which builds trust and further obligates them to you because you are giving away value for them for free. At the same time it is keeping you at the top of their minds. It is also allowing them to choose when the time is right for them to purchase what you have to offer.
Also combined with this step is your personal follow up. With the internet being so automated people still want to connect with a live person and ask questions that cannot be answered buy an automated message. Only a live person can tailor answers to each individual. Have you ever called a company that had those automated answering processes. You know… for such and such press 1… if you want tech support press 2… and then when you press 2 you are forwarded to another message. You’re thinking… I just want to talk to someone not some machine.
Let me iterate the purpose of your personal follow up. It is strictly from a customer service stand point. To see what you can help them with and offer them the opportunity to give you a call when they need it.
Now let me talk about this process from your stand point and this will explain the third most important concept within the magnetic sponsoring course.
1) With the millions of people on the internet you have the ability to reach way more people than other ad mediums.
2) It is cheaper and automated with the exception of your follow up. But… your follow up is only after people have expressed interest. This combats fear of rejection. They reached out to you for help first. Just like you reached out for help on this forum. You invited people into your world. And what happened, you invited me to be a friend. You recognized that… hey this guy may be able to help me get what I want. And you know what… if you decided to get those other books who would you look to give the commission to first. The person that was willing to help you or those who just gave you their links. Now I am not trying to obligate you in any fashion, this is just showing you how reciprocity is being demonstrated even right now as you read this post.
3) The funded proposal concept, which is what I think is the third most important concept in the book. It allows you to make up front cash to pay for your advertisement, other business expenses and even turn a profit ,once you master the correct skills. This is the idea behind free leads and the concept of people paying you to prospect them.
Now this concept is not limited to network marketing or internet marketing. It’s just pure good business strategy… and is used, and can be used by any type of business… service or product based.
And guess where it all starts.
In case you did not guess… Human Psychology!
According to psychologist Abraham Maslow humans are constantly trying to solve five basics needs. It is these needs that drive behavior. These needs are set up according to a hierarchy as shown below. He also stated that the needs at the bottom must be satisfied first before any other one would be considered.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
a) Physiological—Physiological needs are for food, water, air, shelter, and
clothing. People who want for any of these things are preoccupied with
attaining them first. Until they are satisfied, there is really no ability to
consider satisfying higher level needs. One has only to remember stories
of families caught in a war zone without shelter and food to visualize this
level of need.
b) Security—Security needs are for safety, stability, and the absence of pain
or illness. Again, people with these needs become preoccupied with
satisfying them. Many workers require medical, unemployment and
retirement benefits to help satisfy needs in this level of the hierarchy.
c) Affiliation—Affiliation needs are for love, affection, and a feeling of
friendship and belonging. When the physiological and security needs are
satisfied, the social or affiliation needs arise to motivate individual
behavior. These needs are most evident in a person’s behavior as it
relates to job satisfaction, the work ethic, team participation, family ties,
and general well-being.
d) Esteem—Esteem needs include personal feelings of self-worth,
recognition, and respect from others. People with esteem needs want
others to accept them for what they are and to view them as capable.
They are fulfilled when they receive recognition and feedback from
others regarding their competence and ability.
e) Self-Actualization—Self-actualization needs are the highest in Maslow’s
ranking. They are the needs for self-fulfillment and the realization of
personal potential. People striving for self-actualization are usually
accepting of themselves and others, superior at problem solving, more
detached, and possess a desire for privacy.
Now as one moves closer and closer to the basic needs trying to be met (e to a). Price becomes less and less important. This is very significant because this tells us that it is harder to sell a product at a higher price point that is perceived as a higher hieratical need by the prospect.
So if you are selling hamburgers and sodas. It is easier to sell you on the hamburger because it is perceived as a more basic need than the soda. The problem is that the hamburger has a very small profit margin let’s say 5%.
The soda on the other hand has a 5000% profit margin. So what you really want is to sale sodas but you use the burger to get people in the door. This is called front end and back end sales and is the essence of the funded proposal. You sale a cheap high value product on the front end for 40 bucks. This gets you a very loyal customer then you sale them the higher ticket item on the back end. Your opportunity or whatever higher ticket item you have that may be priced at 100,400, or even 1000 bucks. The back end is where your true profit comes in.
