Two college students and a waiter looking for more from life, now ACN Senior Vice Presidents and Circle of Champions Members

Adrian Eimerl spent five years in school and $50,000 on a genetics degree only to discover it would lead to a career that required long hours for low pay. Jeremy Rose was living with three guys in a one-bedroom apartment while working as a waiter and busboy at a fast-food seafood place. And Shawn Herrick was a broke college student working for $8 an hour as a bank teller while eating cheap roman noodles every day.

Each of them was looking for more to life when they discovered the power of the direct selling industry. One summer, a customer at his bank introduced Shawn to direct selling. “And the last 12 ½ years have been so magical,” he said.

It wasn’t always easy as family and friends laughed and scorned them for their decision. Shawn calls them dream-stealers.

“All my friends laughed at me and told me I was crazy. But they were so broke that I didn’t really want to listen to them. So I got started,” Shawn said.

What really caused Adrian to get serious about the industry was the advice his older friends gave him after graduating. They would tell him to stay in school as long as possible because the working world was horrible and college was as good as it gets.

“I started thinking about it. ‘I live with five guys in a four-bedroom house. I eat hot dogs and Top Roman for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I am broke. If these are the best years of my life, my life is going to suck.’ So I got serious about the industry,” Adrian said.

The trio built a solid business in another direct selling company. But they eventually lost faith in the company and made a collective decision to leave a few years ago and join ACN as SAC Global Founders, LLC. “We immediately felt like family with ACN,” Jeremy said.

Together, they reached the position of Regional Vice President in six months. And today, the rewards of success are incredible. Adrian’s wife, Lyndi, and Jeremy’s wife, Adrienne, are stay-at-home moms. The trio works SAC Global as a family business and see each other almost every day as they work to help other representatives build their success stories.

New representatives in their organization are asked to take a symbolic oath: “I can either make money or make excuses, but I cannot do both. I understand I can choose a life of freedom or a life 40 hours a week in a prison without bars. Personally, for my family and I, I choose freedom!”
