Your website is your calling card. It represents you. How professional it looks and how organize it is is very telling about you. Here are some tips for an effective website.

  • Easy to spell domain name
  • No dashes in domain name
  • Avoid confusing names (e.g. 4WaysToWealth.com vs FourWaysToWealth.com)
  • Provide a site map
  • Easy to navigate (e.g. tabs on left of page)
  • Quick and Easy Loading
  • Quality content that anyone will feel "Time Well Spent"!
  • Be Truthful in content
  • No Spelling errors
  • Mission Driven: A theme should be easily noted
  • Attractive / Coordinated Colors
  • About the company page
  • Multiple places for reader to contact you
  • Helpful links to other vital information which can expand on your quality content
  • Provide a free gift (e.g. an e-book or course) in exchange for demographic information of reader (email, name, and phone number)
  • Submit site to search engines
  • Use keyword rich (not cramming) content
  • Use keywords in blue browser title for search engines to find you
  • Use H1 - 3 Tags (titles and subtitles)

Ah, the science of sales. The buzz words the ketch phrases and all tricks used to sell creats a  deception. A deception causes distrust and that causes a adversarial relationship. Unfortunately it works. I would rather have 10 who were attracted from the heart than 100 that were tricked.
