Don’t know whose this saying actually is, but it’s the perfect cure for procrastination.
Let us dig deeper now…
I believe every network marketer out there has either experienced procrastination before, or is currently in the procrastination phase…I know, I’ve been there too!
In fact, when I first started to dip my fingers into network marketing, back in September 2009, I was determined to succeed, but did not take it seriously. Back then I believed that with some free advertising I could build my own MLM business in a blink of an eye. Who needs network marketing tools?? That’s what I believed…
Well I was wrong…
During my first 3 months online, I made contact with a couple of gurus out there, who all believed that an attraction marketing system is a MUST to succeed. I thought I could prove them wrong…
Again, I was wrong…
Three months afterwards, the results I got in my MLM business were hard to digest…
- Over 100 people personally sponsored in my downline
- 8 Hours per day advertising on FREE advertising websites
- $3.22 as an income for the whole 3 months
Unnecessary to say, I was then proven wrong!
Almost on the verge of committing network marketing suicide, I looked back at what the gurus out there had told me…an attraction marketing system…
I owed it to myself to check it out before quitting. I knew I needed to work as we were drowning in debt, soon to be evaquated from our house as payments were not being made to the bank as agreed…
Christmas was approaching, and I found that we couldn’t buy any fancy presents for our kids just as they deserved!
The famous pain in the gut…telling me “Hey you were adviced but you didn’t give it a go!”
That was when I realised…
I had been procrastinating for 3 whole months! What was I thinking?? How could I build a business that easily?? How could I succeed in making a steady income working from home without investing in any kind of online tools??
The Sin Of Procrastination!
Once I realised this, I took a look into what the gurus out there were doing…I could see that in the 3 months I had spent procrastinating, they had managed to reach the top compensation level in their own MLM business…
When there is will, there’s a way…
I dug up everywhere I could and I came up with the necessary investment for a simple attraction marketing system. I kept saying, “I AM going to succeed…Nothing will stop me!”
I believed in myself…
And whilst my family and friends told me I was going nuts, and that I was just losing money out there, and that network marketing is just hype, I just wanted to prove them wrong…
And I did!
Almost a year has passed now, and I am still going strong, growing by the minute…
My team is as stronger as ever, and I make it a priority to offer assistance whenever it’s needed…
Now I turn to you…

Hey Claire,
I think you've really hit on one of the worst things that anyone can do, which is put things off. Every time I do, it just turns out bad. The funny thing is that putting things off leads to putting more things off, and doing things NOW leads to doing more things NOW. Either way, you get more of what you do.
My only question is this:
Is there a typo in your post, or did I just misunderstand? It looks like you said you personally sponsored 100 people in those 3 months, but only earned $3.22.
That doesn't seem possible.
If it is, I think I'd get into a different company. :)
That just didn't make sense to me, so I figured I missed something.

As for your question...
Yes I did personally sponsor well over 100 people in less than 3 months and only got $3.22 (actually I never got the $3.22 cos I'm from Malta and the company requested I earned more before withdrawing).
At the time, that company was SFI (it was actually my first online experience in MLM). The thing with SFI is that it doesn't matter how many people you get into your downline but how much sales you do. So even though I got over 100 personally sponsored members, they never made purchases so I got nothing apart from the $3.22!
Eventually after that experience I quit from SFI and did what I said in the article. But today I understand that it was not for me...
I'd rather promote business enhancing products than focus on selling items which can be bought from the store around the corner!! And location matters...it was a great business for people in US, but not countries far away from US.
