10 Steps To A Network Marketing Empire [Part One]
If you plan on building an empire in the network marketing industry you will have to master the necessary skills to be successful. This will take time as you can not gain expertise quickly. You will have to focus on one particular area and master it before moving onto the next. It is very common in network marketing for those new to the industry to get overwhelmed in the early stages when learning a new skill and quickly move on to something else because they are not seeing immediate results.
If you are going to build a real empire in Network Marketing you must learn it, master it, share it and become known for it, and make real money teaching it. An example of a network marketer who has master all the necessary skills is Diane Hochman, also know as the Queen of Attraction Marketing.
Step 2 - Pick your audience
It is so very important to identify your target audience. Are you going to target mothers who stay at home to look after their children, or successful business professional who need a way to leverage their time or perhaps struggling network marketers who want to find success online? Once you have identified who you are going to target you can then go and hangout wherever they are and start to develop relationships with them. A good question to ask yourself would be "People who need education on my topic often belong to organizations like..." then make a list.
Step 3 - Discover your audiences problem
Provide a solution to your target audiences problem and it will be a match made in heaven. if you are targeting struggling network marketers who are unable to generate leads, recruit reps into their business or make money online you can offer a valuable solution to their problem by giving them marketing training so that they can do it for themselves. To gain greater insight into your target audiences needs use the "Customer Insight Formula" created by Brendon Burchard:
1. What is it you are trying to accoplish this year?
2. What do you think it would take to double your business this year?
3. What frustrates you the most about your business or life right now?
4. What have you already tried to do to improve your situation, and what worked and did not work?
The answers to these questions will help you understand the ambitions, needs, frustrations, and learning preferences of your target audience.
Step 4 - Define your story
What have you struggled with or had a major challenge with? If you are able to share a relevant experience with your target audience that they can relate to, they will be able to connect with you because they will know that you have been through what they have been through. This is what your target audience wants to know about you:
Grab a pen and take notes!
1. Who are you and what have you been through in life that I can relate to in my own life?
2. What have you overcome and how?
3. What did you figure out along the way?
4. What did you succeed at and what results did you get?
5. What are you going to teach me that I can apply now to make my life better?
Once you have put together a response to these questions you will then be able to address these questions in your communication with new prospects in your target audience. Your response should be genuine and heartfelt so that your prospect can FEEL the authentic you.
Step 5 - Create a solution
Your solution should be a how to program or system that your target audience can follow (and buy) to get to where they want to go. Such as a marketing system that enables your target audience to generate leads and make money online whilst learning the skills necessary to be a leader and ultimately have an empire.
