What does your company do that is different, better, newer or faster than your competitors? Now is the time to let everyone know!
 
Offer Free Advice ~
What advice can you offer that will help someone else solve their problems? Contact journalists to let them know they can call you for advice when writing stories about your area of expertise. Give them specific examples of how you help people save time and money.
 
Write How-to-Articles ~
Editors of many newspapers, magazines and trade publications want articles that tell their readers how to do something such as get out of debt, discipline their children, have a safer work environment, set up a home office, or acquire a business loan. Think of the number one problem your customers face, then write a how-to-article about it.
 
Writing articles and submitting to online directories such as Ezine Articles can be a very effective way to increase traffic to your website. Be sure to include your website URL at the bottom and a few text links through out driving people to your website.
 
Tell the Media About Trends ~
Have you spotted a new trend in your industry? Let the media know about it. With the government stimulus plan several industries (energy) have a fantastic opportunity to explode their business due to tax credits and rebates for customers who buy their products. Don't miss out, make sure you tell everyone how they can benefit before it is too late.
 
Expand Your Social Circle ~ 
No matter where you're located, there are networking opportunities for entrepreneurs who'd like to meet other entrepreneurs. Check into local business organizations and attend different networking events to continue growing your social circle. Some favorites are BNI an International Networking Organization and Meetup for finding people interested in just about anything.
 
Now more than ever is the time to get creative and get out and build relationships!
