A Simple Guide To MarketingIt doesn’t take much to lose your way with marketing. Marketing by itself is a huge topic and understanding it in depth can take a very long time. But marketing is something which you must learn to become a successful network marketer or affiliate marketer.

The first thing you must know is WHO you are aiming your marketing at. Who do you want to join you in your business or buy your products / service.

If you do not know this then you are simply trying to catch matching snow flakes. (Good luck with that!).

Just anybody will not do and everybody is a massive waste of time and money. You have to know exactly WHO you want to get.

I know you don’t have the time to study marketing in its entirety.

I know that you want to learn as much as you can as quick as you can so you can go out and start making money as soon as possible.

So today I am going to give you a quick simple guide to marketing that you can follow and use in your business today.

A Simple Guide To Marketing

Step 1

Know and understand who you are and why you are in business and more importantly what made you buy into your business.

Knowing why you got into business and what makes you buy, read, study your business will give you great insight on why others will do the exact same. (We are not all that different).

Step 2

Identify exactly who you want to work with.

Be as precise as possible when selecting the groups of people you want to market to, for example.

Age: 25-45
Gender: Female
Employment type: Blue Collar
Salary: $60,000+ p.a
Industry: Real Estate
Location: London
…etc, etc.

You can have as many of these groups as you want.

The more precise you are with who you want to work with the more streamline your marketing for each group will be.

Step 3

Research as best you can each marketing group that you come up with. Identify where online they may visit frequently, or which magazines / ezines they may subscribe to.

Knowing their movements and online habits will give you the opportunity to place your marketing right under there nose.

Step 4

Create separate campaigns for each marketing group.

Separate ads, banners, articles, emails, landing pages, opt-in forms, auto-responders, sale funnels etc.

This may seem like a lot of work, but you have to understand that each marketing group which you want to work with are different. Therefore they will respond to things in different ways.

Step 5

Split test and track everything.

There you have it. My simple guide to marketing in 5 easy to follow steps.
