To Cloak Or Not To Cloak!

On occasion trying to come up with a new and helpful topic for my article takes me to many places far and wide. It is sometimes better for me to go back to where I was when I first started online and knew very little about marketing and didn't know where or how to start or what to do and ....I could go on. Which brings me to this place of simplicity.... at least I can say that now!

My URL

Creating your own URL and having it automatically redirected to your referral links is a good idea.

Why?

Because referral links are long, ugly and look like referral links.

Creating your own URL is instant and easy.

There are several services that offer your own 'short UR', sub domains, redirection and masking.

Marketing tip: Whenever you display your own URL always use capital letters at the begining of each new word in your URL.

Example: Which of these catches your eye...and is easy to read?

www.myownpromotionlink.

www.MyOwnPromotionLink.

As I said this is my place of simplicity and I hope it's helpful to others just starting out.
