I would like to share an experience I had.

I called company "X" and spoke with a representative. After half an hour on the phone, he agreed to send me some information by email and said that he will get back to me in the next few days!

 

What do you think happened. Didn't get the email nor the call??

 

I was interested in the product, but if the sales person can't get back to me, why should I buy from him? What if I buy the product and have an issue, would someone help me or just ignore me as they are doing now? I will be looking for another company that can offer me a similar product. The beauty of the internet is I know I can!

 

Lesson of the day: Follow ups are important !!

 

I've made so many sales simply calling back a customer as promised!

 

I cannot preach enough the importance of follow ups.

There is so much competition out there, you need to stand out , and stand out in a good way!

When you get a lead, call him in the first 24hours! You want to call them when you are still fresh in their head.

If you tell them, you’ll get back to them in a certain delay, keep your promise, keep your word.

There is nothing I hate more than a sales person that says he is going to do something simply to get me of the subject. Don’t be lazy, it shows!
