How to Get Your Very Own Better Networker Lead Capture Form in Four Easy-to-Follow Steps:
STEP 1 – Join the Association of Better Networkers.
STEP 2 – Update the “Professional Information” settings on your profile.
STEP 3 – Claim your very own Better Networker Company Profile Lead Capture Lead Capture Form.
STEP 4 – Sit-back and count your leads. :-)
FIRST: Join the Association of Better Networkers (ABN)
You must be a member of the Association of Better Networkers (ABN for short) to use the new Better Networker Company Profile Lead Generator.

If you are already a member of the ABN then the very first thing you will want to do is JOIN YOUR COMPANY on Better Networker.
SECOND: Edit Your “Professional Information” Settings And JOIN YOUR COMPANY On Better Networker:
STEP 1 – Sign-in to your Better Networker account and click the “Settings” button. It’s the button with a picture of a gear beside it at the very top of the website. Here’s what it looks like:
You can also get to your “Professional Information” settings by searching for your company in the Company Pages and clicking the “Join” button for your opportunity on Better Networker.
STEP 2 – When you click the “Settings” button a new window pops-up on your screen with all of your options. Click on the link that says “Professional Information” and select the company or companies that you are currently a distributor for.
STEP 3 - Pick your primary opportunity from the pop-up menu that says “I’m A Distributor For”, “My Company 2”, or “My Company 3”.
Please note: This is not the same thing as the company name you may have previously entered on your Better Networker profile.
What To Do If Your Company Isn’t Listed:
If your company DOES NOT appear in the pop-up menu on your “Professional Information” page and does not appear in the Company Pages section on Better Networker then please click here to request that your company be added to the site. (The Company Pages on Better Networker went live in June and we are constantly adding new companies to our community.)
STEP 4 – When you have chosen your company or companies from the pop-up menu scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Submit”. You have just updated your “Professional Information” settings and you are ready to go. Congratz!
THIRD: Activate Your Company Profile Lead Capture Form And Start Attracting Leads Today:
STEP 1 – Click on the “Add Content” button that appears on every page of the Better Networker (except the forums). This is the same button you click when you add content like articles and videos to Better Networker. It’s looks like this:
STEP 2 – When you click the “Add Content” button a window will pop-up. You’re looking for a links that says “Create A Company Lead Generator Ad”. Clicking this link will bring you to a new page that lets you create your ad.
STEP 3 – Now it’s time to create your ad. The headline: “Submit Company Lead Generator Ad” should now be at the top of your screen. You’ll see a form that looks almost like the form you use when you write or post articles on Better Networker.
STEP 4 – The first step is to click the little checkbox that says “Active” and then select your company from the pop-up menu pictured below. If your company name doesn't show-up then try typing the first few letters of your company's name into the "Select Company" field.
If you haven’t JOINED YOUR COMPANY on Better Networker then you WILL NOT be able to submit your ad. If you’re having trouble at this point then you should follow the instructions at the beginning of this tutorial and double-check your “Professional Information” settings.
STEP 5 – Simply follow the instructions on your screen and fill-out the information that you want to show up on your Better Networker company ad and lead capture page.
Here’s A Few Pointers That Will Help You Create Your Company Profile Lead Capture Form And Fill Out The Required Information:
Set Active: Make sure this little check-box is checked to make your ad active. If you have another ad active for a given company, the new ad set as active will override it.
Select Company: Simply select your company. If your company isn’t showing up then you need to double-check your "Professional Information" settings.
Ad Headline: You write your headline here. Your headline is responsible for up to 80% of the effectiveness of your ad. So you will want to spend most of your time here.
Ad Body: This is where you type the text of your ad. Focus on what your reader will get if they decide to opt-in to your ad. What’s in it for them?
Ad Link Title: If you want to share a link in your ad then here is where you will put the text that you want to display.
Ad Link URL: This is where you’ll put the actual link that you want to share. Of course, this function is completely optional.
Ad Email: If you want you can also share your e-mail address in your ad. Although I would strongly urge you to keep things simple and focus on getting them to give you their e-mail address first.
Ad Phone Number: This is completely optional but you can share a contact or business number here for your prospect’s convenience.
Ad Button Text: This is the text that is going to display on your “submit” button. The right “call to action” can double your response and leads.
STEP 6 – Scroll down to the bottom of the Ad creation page and click the “Save Advertisement” button and you’re all set. I knew you could do it! :-)
How To Drive More Traffic To Your Better Networker Company Profile Lead Capture Form:
Your ad will now show-up every time a visitor clicks on your company’s name on your Better Networker profile.
It will display on the Company Pages right beside the reviews and information for your opportunity. But, you can also drive more traffic to your lead capture page by sharing your links as well.
The best part is that your prospects will thank you for sharing your link because you are pointing them towards more information about your opportunity instead of blatantly pitching them on joining.
The easiest way to drive more prospects to your lead capture page ad (and build your list) is to copy and paste your Better Networker Company Pages badge into your websites, blogs, or even your forum signature file.
Here’s How To Get Your Company Pages Badge:
STEP 1 – Simply click the "Settings" link at the top of any page, or the "Get An ABN Badge For Your Site" button on your Better Networker profile. It’s on the right side of your profile above your reviews:

STEP 2 – Your “Account Settings” window will pop-up. Scroll down until you see your company pages badge. Pictured below:
You will also see the HTML code for your company pages link and badge.
You simply copy and paste this code into your website, blog, or forum signature files and it will link directly to your company’s profile on Better Networker and your lead capture ad.
Now, you will have to know some very basic HTML to do this but if you already know how to share a link and post a link in the forums then this should be a walk in the park.
FOURTH: Now It's Time Sit-Back And Count Your Leads :-)
If you want to see how many leads you have captured and how many people have actually looked at your lead capture page it’s really easy to check.
STEP 1- Click the “Add Content” button at the top of Better Networker. This is the same link you click when you want to ad new articles or videos to Better Networker. More options will pop-up in a new window.
STEP 2- You are looking for the link that says “Edit/ Review My Company Ads”. Click on this link and you will be able to review or edit your company ads. You can also download your leads and stats so you can print your leads and follow-up through phone or e-mail.
STEP 3- How To Downoad Your Leads. If you want to download your leads then look for the heading that says "Download Leads (CSV)". You will find a link below this header that says "All".
STEP 4- Clicking the "All" link will cause a window to pop-up. Click "OK" to download the file as a CSV. This is a Microsoft Office Excel compatible file. At this point you may or may not decide to import your leads into your autoresponder.
NOTE: Some autoresponder services do not support imported e-mail addresses or leads. Others like icontact and Aweber do suport imported contacts but you may have to enter in the e-mail addresses manually. It really depends on your service provider.
The Bottom-line: “How Many Leads Will I Attract?”
There is no limit to the amount of leads you can attract with your Better Networker lead capture pages.
But your results will depend largely upon the copy you have written for your ad so it’s best to test a few different versions of your lead capture ad over time.
While you can only run one ad (at a time) for each individual opportunity you are in there is nothing stopping you from changing your lead capture ad every week until you get a winner.
