Network Marketing : What Is Cost Per Impression?

You are into network marketing and you are looking for the different types of advertising program available for promoting your business.  Online advertising is one of the most popular and effective methods of advertising available currently. But what are impressions and cost per impression?

Cost Per Impression:

Cost per impression (CPI) refers to the rate that an advertiser has agreed to pay per 1000 views of their particular advertising campaign.  Websites that serves ads based on CPI does not require users to click on the ad – it is enough that each time the ad appears when the user uploads the website and each appearance of the ad in front of the user will count as one impression.  The advertiser will of course decide on how much they want to pay for how many 1000 impressions so that they have the possibility of controlling on how much they will be spending in tot al for the particular campaign. Cost per Impression is also known as CPM which is Cost Per M for the Roman numeral M for Thousand :) Cost Per Impression means the cost per 1000 impression which is being view by your target group.  It is also one of the most effective ways that network marketers are able to use for driving traffic to their websites.  Using cost per impression payment method for e-marketing advertising campaigns is designed to be displayed and uploaded 1000 times on a webpage where space has been rented.  The advertising method here can be in form of web banners, text links, rich media ads or opt-in email advertising.

Advantages of CPI:

The advantage of using impression is that it is simple payment method because an impression occurs every single time a webpage is loaded with a specific advertisement on it. If you have created a CPI ad and uploaded it by for example Google, Yahoo or Facebook depending on your budget, then every single time a user visits that website’s homepage (for example people with Yahoo E-Mail address when them they want to login to their email address) occurs for the ad.  You will be charge an agreed fee by the ad server for every 1000 impression made on your ad. Many network marketers prefer to use cost per impression because both the ad server and the network marketer have control of their payments and the amount that they want to allocate for a particular campaign.
