I often get asked some of the questions and thought it would be good to share some topics of discussion:

It is natural to be concerned with the risks of starting your at home based business opportunity, and it isn't a decision that should be taken lightly as it is an investment of your valuable time and hard earned money. You want to be involved with an organization that will help you through this process by by offering training, support and leadership in all facets of your business. Now, I am not talking about a get rich quick scheme with flashy ads that would make music videos blush... I am talking about an organization that cares about the success of the individual, and there are many more levels to personal success besides wealth (The money is always nice though!). To help alleviate some of the concerns that you may have here is a list of some of the early questions that you may have or should be asking yourself.

The Top 5 Concerns with starting an Internet home business:

1) I don't have any experience with online marketing or running my own business.

Find a system that takes all of the guess work out out of the early days in starting your business. It is easy to get confused with what steps to take with so many things pulling you in different directions. Relax. A network of experienced professionals can give guidance and archived training modules can show you the path to take and guide you through the most pertinent activities that will allow your business to grow from the earliest stages to something that can provide you with the lifestyle you want from the comfort of your own home.

2) I don't have any idea of what type of legitimate home business I will run.

Find a quality system and support network that has quality products. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. Copying the success of others is the easiest way to gain it for yourself.

3) I don't have any sales experience and/or I am not comfortable with selling.

Your job is to promote the home based business idea over the web, there are systems where you don't need to speak with anyone to sell the products. While you can certainly take ownership of the sales piece, partnering with a network of experienced sales force that can answer questions about the product and help your interested customers get a better understanding of the product and business is invaluable.

4) I don't have the free time to be able run a home based business opportunity.

There are 2 ways to answer this. First, if you want to change your current situation, you are going to have to change the way you do things and make a commitment to your Internet home business for it to be successful. This may mean that you have to give some things up to get there, but it will be more than worthwhile in the end as your efforts will be reciprocated 10 fold. Second, it is okay if you don't have a full work week to devote to the home business idea. Actually, that is expected. Just make sure you are diligent when you are working and make time for your business a priority.

5) It seems risky to start my own legitimate home business.

Well, Risk = Reward. Yes, there are risks associated with any business, and as all too many people know these days, those risks exist in the "comfort" of Corporate America as well. Why not have your work provide value for you? And, on the flip side, there is the imminent risk that you will look back at a moment when you had the chance to take a risk and didn't.

All in all, the products, training, and network of professionals are some of the most important things to look for in a home based business. I am not going to lie, this will take work, as anything in life that produces rewards does, but a comprehensive program is one that can produce results for people of all walks of life.
