If you are actively pursuing or trying to learn affiliate marketing, then you’re probably aware that there are several different ways to market yourself and/or the products you are trying to promote.
 
In order to achieve the optimum affiliate marketing success you are looking for, it’s always best to understand yourself, your marketing style, and your working style. When I first started trying to make money online, I wasted the first 1 ½ years trying to succeed in certain business models that simply weren’t my style; therefore, I failed miserably and didn’t make a dime!
 
So, I’ve put together for you a 2-part affiliate marketing guide to help you analyze who you are and what business model best fits you. That way, you waste less time and cut straight to the chase.
 
Here, I have provided 5 different business models for you to see which ones best fit your personal style. It’s best to mix and match them and find which ones work for you! You may find a certain combo that fits you like a glove! There is no one best affiliate marketing model. You have to find the ones that work best for you as an individual if you want to be successful.

The best affiliate marketers find a way to use all of these five models – even if they have to outsource some of them. Super affiliates know that they have to build a team and find a way to fit each business model into their system and have them all tie into each other.

What’s your style?
 
Figuring out your style is somewhat similar to being a right-brain or left-brain person. Are you better at language arts or math and science?
 

 
Do you like posting content and keeping people up to date? Do you enjoy social interaction better where you are more successful at communicating with people rather than analyzing numbers? If you do, then you are more than likely a right brained person.
 
Right brained people are better at language arts. They are more intuitive and subjective and are better at piecing together random things and situations and viewing them as a whole. These people are more likely to succeed with social networking, link building, and blogging b/c these are the areas that rely on “relationship building”.
 
Do you like to “set it and forget it”? Are you a numbers person where you like to calculate, analyze, and optimize? If you do, then more than likely you are a left brained person.
 
Left brained people are better at math and science. They are more logical and sequential and enjoy piecing together little parts and analyzing them. These people are more likely to be successful at PPC, CPA, and CPM business models. These are the models where you put together a system, analyze it, optimize it and then leave it alone ones it’s performing at its’ max.
