Staying In Your Market

Staying in your market is essential to getting high rankings in your blog posts. I would write articles about my interests and subjects that appealed to me and hoped others would join with me and click on my links.
I was greatly disappointed for I had good content, high rankings, and a web blog post that was being read by many. However, the major mistake I was making was I was not writing to my target audience.
So, I would write, and write, and continued to be disappointed. The fact was driven home to me when I posted an ad on a safe-list and had sent several thousand to my capture page and no one signed in.
My ad was good, well written, and urged people to go to my splash page. I was driving the wrong audience to my capture page.
Then a week or so later, one of my associates would sign up one of the persons that I had been trying to reach. This result was from me writing to please myself and drifting away from my target audience.
Do you know who your target audience is? Are you sure? How do you determine who is your target audience?
One of the best ways is by using pre-written ads. I use Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring ads. He has split tested his ad. His ads stay on target and keep the target audience on track.
I also use several different styles of ads. Mike Dillard has pre-written everything you need to succeed. A lot of people don’t use Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring Course because they feel it is old school. Let me ask you a question. If someone gives you a dollar, do you look to see if it is old and worn? Of course not. I don’t care how old the money is, it all spends the same.
Make sure you are staying in your market and not trying out to many options. I learned in selling years ago to never give the customer two or more options. They will not be able to decide and will put off their buying until things clear up.
Staying in your market is crucial to succeeding in network marketing. There are so many web sites and blogs being formed every second that you must be different, stay in your market, and at the same time be unique.
One of the best ways to write, staying in your market, is to develop and lay out your keywords first. Then write your article around the keywords. Once you work at this a little, it will become easier and leads will start signing up.
WARNING: This is only for people VERY SERIOUS about becoming killer copywriters.
