This weekend I had the pleasure of stumbling across a reality TV show about the Network Marketing profession.

The Amateur Millionaires Club showcases some of Atlanta's highest earning entrepreneurs in network marketing. As with most reality TV shows it is way over the top, however, the "drama" makes for entertaining viewing. What I loved about the show was the pride and belief each character (network marketer) had in the home based business industry. They were all so happy to share the opportunity with people because they know the benefits and the potential the business has to change peoples lives.

Their attitude was like "You mean you're NOT in network marketing?...So what do you do, work a job you hate from 9-5 and live pay check to pay check ?"

They know in their hearts that they have a better way and they share it freely. There is no anxiety about talking to friends and family, doing hotel meetings, 3 way calls, or talking to people on the phone they just get the job done and get PAID!

Are you Trapped in The Closet?

There is a lot of negative stigma surrounding the network marketing or multi-level marketing business model with many people thinking it is some sort of a pyramid or ponzi scheme. The concept of being able to make residual or passive income is foreign to most people, especially if they have been socialised to believe working a 9 to 5 job is the only way to make money.

This could be the reason why some people who are drawn to using the internet to build their network marketing business  feel reluctant to say what it is they actually do. If you are waiting for people to be attracted to you yet you never disclose what it is you actually do how are you going to build a team?

There are many great tools, resources and systems available on the internet to help you connect with people who are looking for what you have to offer, however, the skills that are necessary for building teams and downlines require you to connect with people personally on the phone or face to face.

If it is your time to come out of the closet and share your opportunity with the world, be BOLD like the Amateur Millionaires in Atlanta and step out in style and tell everyone you know that you have a better way.
