The internet could be considered an information highway. This is an common phrase used over and over again. People utilize the internet for a variety of reasons Whether it be for leisure activities or searching for information.
Alot of people have figured out the power of search engine optimization over the years. An increasingly amount of websites have received an traffic surge due to article marketing. Some marketers even created websites that only contain articles read by their website visitors and have backlinks that lead to other websites that are related to the topics of their articles.
These sites feature several articles with different topics. As readers read the article they have searched for, they can find the author resource box at the end of the article that usually contains a clickable link in relation to the content in the article. For example, if the article is about rotating tires, the link in the author resource box may lead to a website that sells tires or car parts.
An author resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article in article directories. If readers like what they’ve read, they have the tendency seek where the article came from. The author resource box will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to your website and do more reading of the entire article or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.
Like the article itself, the author resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the author resource box space is limited, using the right keywords and content in your author resource box will get more readers to visit your website.

capturing the backlink stroke
"using the right keywords and content in your author resource box will get more readers to visit your website."
Good reminder that the whole point of article writing/marketing is keeping the reader engaged enough to click on your backlink to your marketing hub and becoming engaged there.
increase article resource box click through rate
great article, and awesome info for the content marketer. im heavily involved with article marketing and my first choice i recommend when starting out to your mlm success.
heres a cool tip i found out and works to increase click through rate of your resource box.
I use to have a resource box that talked about me, example)
Patrick Mitsuing is an expert online mlm marketer who teaches struggling network marketers how to succeed online, for more info about Patrick click here - http://www.patrickmitsuing.com {hyperlink instead of url}
But found it was far more effective to have your resource box look like a continuation of your article.
like if you were writing about work at home moms, you wouldnt have the resource box like the one i wrote about myself,
Instead write it as more info and content as part of the article, ex)
Work at Home Mom's have found great success using this pay per click strategy, there is another work at home strategy that you can use that will compliment this one, click here to see what that is - http://www.patrickmitsuing.com
see the difference between the two resource boxes. One talks about me, the other one is a continuation of an fictitious article. But it works wonders, and improved my click through rate on my articles by 200%
I second Patrick
I found what Patrick wrote to be very true. I do my best now to have a resource box that flows with the rest of the article.
Agree
You know, the author resource box is one of those improperly used areas by most article authors. Good call on bringing this to our attention.
Using your keywords in the author resource box is a GREAT way to rank and ensure a click back to your site.
For when you are dealing with different types of content, utilizing different author resource boxes is ideal. Sites like ezinearticles has this, as do many others.
Totally agree that the resource box you choose for your article should flow from the article all the way to what your site has on it.
That's what we call congruency. :D

I've just made some
I've just made some interesting resources available for those who are at the beginning of article marketing. I remember how badly I needed these resources at the beginning of my careers as an article writer. Apparently all my efforts payed off, now I have my own Dan Manson section where everyone can see articles submitted by me, it's quite an achievement and I don't intend to stop here. Article writing is rewarding in more ways.
