Attraction Marketing Does Work!
I want to share with you an article I wrote on Attraction Marketing. I wrote it after I saw a video (see below) that said those who promote Attraction Marketing are just trying to make money off you. Let me say unequivically that I know Attraction Marketing works, even in it's simplist form.
Here is a repost my article. If you haven't tried Attraction Marketing yet, perhaps my articall will help convince you that it does work. Maybe you have already decided that it is BS (see Tim Erway report, http://www.betternetworker.com/articles/view/personal-development/leadership/attraction-marketing-is-bs-and-doesnt-freaking-work) and my report may cause you to think about it again.
The video below is one I came across tonight and caused me some concern, That's why I want to talk to you about it. There is some truth to what Diane Hochman says, but she isn't being totally truthful about some of the aspects she discusses. Let me discuss the misleading comments on her video titled "Home Business Training: 10 Reasons People Fail in MLM".
Diane points out that Attraction Marketing is as old as the hills, which is true of course. She also said marketers advertise in the phone book. This means that, if you are a merchant, people know how to find you just as they do on the Internet when using the same keywords that you used in your tags.
Marketers know to place their wares in an appealing manner to attract customers. Of course, that's the same thing we try to do when we advertise on the Internet. People who go to the phone book or to the market are ready to buy, they just need to find the right merchant from which to make a purchase. Isn't that the same thing people do on the Internet? Don't they do a Google search to find the product, service, or information they want? Isn't Attraction Marketing utilizing the same principles as in the examples I just offered?
ATTRACTION MARKETING WORKS! In other words, you and I place ads on the Internet by using keywords that attract people to us because they are looking for or they want our wares. Using the phone book concept, keywords attract the type of clientèle we want because they are already interested in what we have to sell. So yes, Attraction Marketing works very well!
Diane is wrong to say that no one who sings Attraction Marketing is making any money! There are plenty of people I know that make Attraction Marketing work very well for them. I am just starting to get the hang of it, but in my small way, it works for me too. Diane's statement is just plain NOT TRUE! You can't help but make a sell when you use the right key words and present products, services, or information attractively! If people want it and you've got it, you WILL make a sale...it's Common economics. If you don't make the sale then you are either not attracting the right customers because your keywords are wrong or you have not presented your wares in an attractive manner.
People like Mike Klingler, Mike Dillard, Scott Rogers and many others have built their business by using Attraction Marketing! No one can tell them that Attraction Marketing doesn't work. And no one can convince me that Attraction Marketing doesn't work. If you still want to watch the video, be sure to listen closely to what she says. There is frustration in her voice because Attraction Marketers are cutting into her sales or something. Whatever her reasons, it doesn't matter because we know that Attraction Marketing is the right way to makes sales. People like Mike Klingler, Mike Dillard, and Scott Rogers are there to guide us through the maze of marketing and to show us how to maximise our efforts. They are there to help us avoid the mistakes they've made so we can achieve success faster if we will just listen to them.
I guess you have to use THIS LINK to watch the video.

Right On Judy, Build People And People Will Build The Business~
Attraction Marketing is the only way to build a solid foundation on trust and taking care of each other. Blend that with learning the skills to be successful and we are set! I have watched my whole life change by the effect of Attraction Marketing. It gives me the chance to use my gifts and talents and develop relationships world-wide, attracting people by "being myself and shining my light." I love it! I get to be a life student of others and exercise my creative imagination to brand myself, impacting others on the way! Thank you for this article Judy, it has given me a gratitude for where I am today and how wonderful it is to be here, surrounded by amazing friends like you~

Judith, It is not the same
Judith,
It is not the same to be a course salesman than a business builder let say in MLM.
The lady is right I knew about Attraction Marketing and selling by attraction...way back before I knew from Mike Dillard(good for him that people atribute this to him)...but compare what they have accomplish selling courses with building a real business is a litle bit different.
Frank Kern has sold more than 37 millions dollars on line and I have to admit that he is the best salesman online right now...but I bet you he does not know how to build an empire on line.
Why they avoid contact with their students? because will not take too long for you to find out that they do not know enough...they use friends to write their courses.
I Completely Agree With You Jenny
Attraction Marketing is just one aspect of building a successful business. The best Attraction Marketing results we can expect in these times of uncertainty is to build relationships based on trust.
People may be in the market to purchase our products or services but they are leary of people they don't know they can trust. Our job is to create that trust by developing a relationship that they want from online shopping or in their personal affairs.
The experts all say the same thing, that creating trust is having a sincere interest in them and what they need and want. After we understand what they want and need because they've told us what it is, we can provide them whatever it is without having to sell them on it. What we offer them in trust and associationis is what they want. People want to buy from someone they know more than they want to buy from someone they don't know. When we are honest and sincere in our dealings with them, people will sense that from us and give us what we want as well.
Jenny, you and I know these things are true because we practice these basics ourselves. We've proven this through our own successes. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate your thoughts very much.
You've Misconstrued What Was Said
I hate to burst bubbles here but someone has to set the record straight. Go back and listen to the last 60 seconds of that recording.
Roger got it right in talking about selling intellectual property versus building an organization. Two different things.
What Diane said is, save your money because the info they are selling is NOT the same strategies that the authors are using. They are telling everyone to Zig while they Zag.
Diane Hochman is a huge proponent of attraction marketing.
