Like other social media sites Pinterest offers a wide range of activities that you can use to market your MLM business.  What the goal is here is to gain brand recognition thus driving traffic to your website and be successful in converting new visitors to leads.

You will need to create a pin board that is going to highlight some of your best visual content.  Many big brands are taking notice of the power of online visual content for marketing.  Instagram is one of the platforms that has contributed to this enabling real businesses to leverage photos as an inbound marketing technique.

You should always use nice images in your blog articles and then pin them to your pinterest board.  You should use images that highlight the best parts of your written content. You can also pin simple data charts which you can build in excel and make sure you have a clear headling in the image so that people know what they are looking for.

You can promote an ebook on pinterest – take a screenshot of it and post to one of your boards.  If you go to any company events then take some good photos of people, that have achieved something, possibly with the event leader of your company and pin then to a board.

Have a guest pin board where any of your good customers can go and pin their own pins to your pinboard enabling you to open up a great opportunity to involve customers and fans in your marketing.  Get them to pin photos of how their life has changed through being with your company and that way you will gain a lot of testimonials for your company.

You can also ad the ‘pin it’ button – in wordpress search for new plugin ‘Pinterest Pin It Button for Images’ to your website where readers can then re-pin any images you have that they find interesting.

Add Links To The Description of Your Pins

You can add links to your pin board directing traffic back to your website which is possibly going to get you more leads and that is what you want – TRAFFIC.

It is not only images that you can have pin boards for but you can also pin videos.  You can create a pin board with all of your videos that will give visitors information of value.  A good idea for videos is if you have any videos of any speakers at events that you go to.  Pinterest’s homepage has a separate tab for videos so you are going to get more exposure by being featured in that category, but don’t forget to ad a call to action in the video.  You have to tell your visitors what you want them to do next.

You can also add images of a personal nature or if like our group on Facebook who have Google hangouts once a week, why not put up a video of one of your hangouts.  That way people get to see you are a real person.
