There are many theories out there about how Page Rank works.  For those of you who dont even know what it is, it's really a measure of how Google trusts your website.

I am sure you have heard about backlinks, however, in looking at some of the top Internet Marketers blogs out there (I am not going to mention any names do to my high regard for them), I noticed that they have failed to concentrate on a backlinking strategy.

All backlinks are not the same.  If your blog has a PR of 2, you want backlinks from as many sites as possible with a PR of 2 or higher.  The higher the better.  I like backlinks from sites with PR's of 5-9.  They are very difficult to find.  Most of them are forums believe it or not, because that is where some really relevant information is and holds a lot of weight with Google. Google likes relevancy.
