How to Provide Value and Earn More Comments, shares and likes from resources you have.

Ok, so your Blog has been up and running for a while, and you are getting comments from people you know and, hopefully, people you are getting to know online or even don’t know (a bonus!). Today I want to share with you a simple tip which could earn you more comments, likes and shares in the future.

You may already have thought of them, but some of them took me longer to realise than others.

For whatever reason and using whatever methods, you have attracted people to read your Blog posts and they have commented. If, like I mentioned in earlier posts, you have asked them to leave an email address and website when you set up you comments settings, you will get this information each time a comment is left. You can either look at the email notification you have been sent if you have that option on, or go to your comments section in your WordPress Blog Dashboard.

To continue to build up my relationship, get repeat visitors and provide value and thanks, here is what I do for the person who has commented:

1. Always write a reply below their comment, so they know I appreciate it and I also answer any questions they may have asked here.

2. Go over to their blog, and find a post I can comment on, share and like. This shows them that I care for and want to help increase their traffic too.

3. Using their email address, sometimes I may email them or see if they are on Facebook to continue to build a relationship.

4 Some people like my good friends Gavin Mountford and Anne Woko have a thank you page that shows when someone has commented or email that goes to them.

This is a practice I like and want to include, so will investigate this! Watch this space.
