Posting Your Opportunity Upon Introduction Is Self Destructing
One of the worst things you can do when introducing yourself is to start pitching your opportunity to people. That goes for any type of meeting including this site on Better Networker. This is a huge mistake that most people make and it absolutely kills your chances of creating any kind of lasting relationship with people (and myself).
Remember this "nobody cares about your opportunity or your great compensation plan. Nobody cares about your ground floor opportunity. Nobody cares about the hype that so many people feed eachother."Some people reading this are wondering "how do you expect me to get the word out about my business then." You do this by providing value to people. Become a solution provider through your marketing efforts. Sales shouldn't be forced upon customers or new leads. The best trainers and home business leaders provide value and from that value they develop large organizations. Have you ever seen someone that just always attracts the right people to them with little or no effort? They always have money, they are in good spirits and they have that wow factor about them. These are usually people that are http://dannyjohnson.mentoringforfree.com and they never pitch their deal they just have people coming to them in droves.

Hi Kendra,
be rest assured that you are in the right place. this is a great group and in the few months that i ve been here, i ve learnt a great deal. my mind has been exposed to alot of info that i would otherwise have been ignorant of. Just keep your mind open and absorb all that you can. The more value you add to your self, the better equipped you are to add value to other people. Do feel free to contact me if you need to, i ll be glad to help in any and everyway that i can.
See you at the top.
Chioma.
Great advice
Danny: I couldn't agree more; I can't think of anything that turns me off more than someone I barely know making some type of sales pitch at me. People don't care what you know until they know that you care. I want to build my business the right way by adding value and helping others succeed.
Danny:
Hi Danny. Thank You, I only wish I knew it a long time ago.
So True!
It is a turn off for sure Danny. You first have to build a relationship and then trust will be formed.
Who loves walking into a car dealership and it feels like the vultures start hovering and moving toward you?! The same goes with our industry.
However, I think in the beginning one is so excited about this "great opportunity", you want to "save" everyone!! So you can spot a newbie in an instant. Not that I haven't made my mistakes too!
How many of you see this on Twitter? The first thing out of their mouths is, "Thank you for the follow, look at my great opportunity!!"
How does that make you feel? Do you want to join them?
Great information Danny!~Lisa
