The Mistake M-L-M Leaders Make‏

Network marketing hotshots often tell their downlines, "You have to change. You have to get out there and sell. If you want to be successful, you have to change and get good at selling."

The truth is, YOU are perfect just like you are. Everybody on your team is perfect just like they are. They don't need to change. They don't need to become a pushy, aggressive salespers0n.

Ninety-two per-cent of the world's population is sales resistant. You don't like to be sold. You walk into a store, looking for shoes. You want to look around, pick out what YOU want. You don't want some clerk coming around, telling you they have a sa1e on such & such a shoe. You want to shop & buy what YOU want. Maybe you'll ask for a clerk, once you've decided what you want.

It's really just a small group in network marketing who tell the others that they have to change, they have to become this pushy, aggressive salesperson, make a list of your friends & family and go puke all over them, force them into the business.

This doesn't work. People won't do it. What works is to have a tested, proven system that brings a steady stream of interested prospects who want to talk with you.

And to build your own big income in M-L-M, the people you sponsor will need that same constant stream of hot prospects. I can help you do that for them, and for yourself. Start where I did by downloading this free ebook: http://ssanspree.successin10steps.com

Good sales people don't puke

Have you noticed that. Tom "Big Al" Schroeder is one of the best salespeople I know and he is neither aggressive nor pushy and to my knowledge he doesn't puke on anyone.
The other huge example that comes to mind is Jim Rohn. I was listening to him one day and he was talking about his skills. The first one he had was milking cows and the second thing he learned was how to make sales. Aggressive, pushy nor puke comes to mind with him either.
Sales is not a bad word, nor are sales people bad people, it is those who perpetuate that myth that are holding people back from real success. Teach them how to be good salespeople and you will truly be a leader of a large organization.

Friends Are Not Food

Good points Stephanie. Too many people who get into mlm would never go into business for themselves. They end up only approaching friends, family and coworkers and puke, as Joyce said, on them. Let people know what you do, offer them value and don't shove it down their throat. Appreciation Marketing and Beach oney are excellant books and should be read by every network marketer

MLM is not sales business.

Hi Stefanie, You are so right. MLM is not a sales business. Making real friendships is what counts, not recruiting one person after the next. I am happy you shared this with us. Thanks.:-)

The Beauty of Network Marketing

Theres room for all types, and all types do well. I prefer to work with the majority who are not going to out of there way to "Make a Sale" but will go out of there way to build a relationship. Friendships last a lifetime, sales don't.
