Now, I’m not about to do the popular “guru” thing of bursting your bubble, and telling you making money blogging is “too hard,” or “too competitive nowadays”...

Blogging for a living is a long-term strategy, and very hard. If you’re looking for a fast buck or overnight riches, then unfortunately I’m going to have to rain on your parade. The big earners you read about had to fight pretty hard to get where they are today.

That said, there is big money in blogging if you’re prepared to put in the time and effort required. You also need to think outside the box, and diversify your ideas.

Here are a few pointers to get all you future blogging superstars started:

1. Incorporate Learning and Take Action

One of the biggest downfalls of wanna-be bloggers is the fact that they become entangled in the “shiny object syndrome.”

f you are guilty of buying every new product that promises you quick riches, then it’s time you got a dose of realism. Learning is very important for your growth as a blogger and marketer.

So you need to commit to buying quality products from marketers you trust. Having said this, it’s imperative you also take action on the things you learn. Implement them into your DMO (Daily Method of Operation).

The key to not becoming overwhelmed with information is to plan your action steps. Do things step-by-step rather than trying to do it all at once and then becoming burned out with information overload – a common point of failure.
