Why I am refusing to show your Comments on my Blog ...

You my have noticed that sometimes when people comment on my Blog, I refuse to show their comments.

Well, to be honest, it's not that I refuse to allow them but rather Wordpress/My Blog that decides not to post them ...

If you are a frequent commenter on my Blog, you will know that after your first comment has been approved I will automatically show any further comments on my Blog.  I can trust you, it's easy and you will see them on my Blog instantly.

Personally, I prefer it that way.   I find it so frustrating when I comment on a Blog, and it is held for approval if I have commented before (I am undestanding the first time ...).

And I find it really annoying if I comment on a blog and a few days later I return and the comment is not showing.   It feels like my comment has not been approved or valued by the blogger.

I VALUE my commenters and LOVE reading and replying to their comments ...

I want them to know they are valued so if it is their first comment I try and approve it quickly ...

And I do my best to reply on my comments too ...

A few weeks ago my good friend Beverly Monical told me she thought her computer was having problems.   She had commented on my Blog a few times but they didn't show ...

She found it weird as she has commented on my Blog before ...

Luckily Beverly and myself have a good understanding, so when she communicated this I promised to investigate ASAP.

Unsure, what was happening, I logged on to my Blog and went to the comments section.

Weird, I couldn't see her comments ...

Must be her computer's fault I thought ...

And then I noticed something that annoyed me ...

There were a number of posts in the SPAM folder which should't have been there!

Some of my friends' comments, and new readers'  comments had been put to SPAM.

I was so grateful that I had noticed this.   I quickly approved the comments in SPAM and replied to them.

So the lesson here is, when you are in your dashboard, or approving and replying to any comments,  check your SPAM!
